I keep trying to make my own album but I can’t seem to get it to look good. One of my problems is choosing the pages, can you do a video on how to choose the paper so they all blend together Nicely! Or how to make it look clean cut if you know what I mean
Do you mean which paper I use? It’s card stock paper (300 gsm thick with smooth surface). I get it from my local craft store in large formats (50x70 cm). For cutting I use Dahle paper trimmer (model 552, it’s more on professional side). First I bought cheap paper trimmer, but paper edges weren’t cut straight and they were ripped. Before I bought this trimmer from Dahle I was using Fiskars rotary cutter instead of paper trimmer. I hope this is what you were asking about.
NJ Paper Crafts yes this helps, but I also would like to know how to make all the papers flow together, it’s kinda hard to explain what I mean! Just every page matches the last and looks so professional and I can’t seem to get it right! I hope you know what I mean but if you don’t it’s okay lol love your work always!
Sam Brown when I started I measured everything. I suggest that you measure for example 1 cm from top and draw a straight line with ruler. Than do the same on bottom of the page. Than use this lines to align your cards with it. When you are finished just simply erase them. I show this in one of my tutorials. I will find link and post it here in the comments.

If you look at 3:27, you will see how to make sure that cards are alligned. Before glue dries, close them together and you will see if they are alligned or if you need to reposition them.
Thank you. I buy card stock in local craft store (paper brands are Favini and Fabriano). Scrapbook paper is not branded, it’s from store similar to dollar tree (but in Europe). Tutorial will be posted in few hours.
For covers I use cardboard (2mm thick). To cover cardboard I use card stock (220gsm), and 300 gsm card stock for pages and elements. I decorate album with scrapbook paper (200-250 gsm).
