ive been waiting on this since it was first announced! I hope the price drops a bit even though with the build and features makes it pretty worth every bit of it. Thank you for this!
Wish they packed their arm v9 based kirin processors. Kirin processor was leading before the ban. Imagine how powerful it would have been with 16 g720 gpus and 8 X4 cpu !
The price is 8999 for core 7, 16gb ram and 1tb HDD. Isn't this over prized compared to Asus Zenbook 14 inch (Core 7, 32 GB ram and 1tb) for less then 7k?
I’ll wait until the Snapdragon Elite Arm based architecture CPU implemented by Huawei on their laptops and it’s gonna boom the battery life. Until then, I’ll consider to buy
Impeccable, thats the onky thing i could say👌😍 but i do have to ask, whats better this Huawei Matebook x pro premium edition or the lenovo thinkpad x1 carbon gen 12?! I cant decide😂😂
i remember, not so long ago, you needed a forklift to transport your pc... future indeed! we are not so long now from having displays on cereal boxes, like in that movie, lol
I personally hope Huawei would focus more on performance than fancy stuff like width and weight, do not follow the path of Apple. I don't mind bulky and heavy laptop if it mean it has better cooling system.
To be honest, this thing is a beast for its size, I’ve tried rendering 4K videos on Premiere Pro and played games like Cyberpunk, it has no issues handling them even after an hour.
@@klgadgettv I know. I'm typing on my blue unit. It's just the cost of making it so incredibly thin and light is high, and that's not only about money. Mine had slightly squeaky right arrow key, and this is already my second. The first was returned for a very squeaky space bar and c key. Performance wise, this is a solid implementation of U9-185H, just its quality control of keyboard doesn't meet the expectation for being 14999 CNY.
I can't seem to see if it's backlit or not. But it looks like it's not, which is a big NO for someone like me. Sucks because that's the only with that's missing for me. I want this.
@@klgadgettv oh, does that mean it's not a good backlit keyboard? Since I'm already here. How about the Webcam and volume while doing meetings? Those are the only things I really need.
Haven't tried the M3 MBA, but the M2 MBA that I have right now basically only lasts 8 hours tops when I'm doing regular productivity stuff, its great but considering how thin and light the Matebook X Pro is and it has to handle that super bright OLED screen and powerful CU9 chip, I think having 5-6 hours of battery life is pretty acceptable.
Should've done better as review. Go outside to test the screen brightness, compare the speaker system to a MacBook, tell us how many hours battery life and doing what? Very lacking as a review
Another perfect work from huawei company when it comes to innovation huawei is the one who are progress when it comes to over all performance in technology even they are restricted in other aspects.they also raising the competition among the other brands like samsung and apple. Look what apple pad 2024 they adapt the light weight that huawei first did but still its not bezelles.huawei also is the go when it comes to premium gadgets but will not compromise its quality and your budget. look at there phone tablet laptap and watches they give it innovative upgrade not like other brand that it took so slow for them to innovate (hi,apple) 😂theyr just making out of money from simple upgrade thats not worth it.and it cost much.again congrats huawei,by the way im still happy using the huawei matepad 13.2 its 4months already but its make me like it more and more😘😘😘
What else one ask for... They have packed everything in one thin machine including 6 speakers.. great Huawei technologies..
Seriously, the speakers are impressive for such a thin form factor.
Best ultra book in the world right now.
Agreed Huawei is unbeatable
Everything is perfect except the Windows operating system. Windows is a truly terrible operating system.
@ agreed
soon HarmonyOS will beat both Windows and MacOS
unbeatable yet no owned operating system like macOS?
The ultimate ultrabook
looks great, it's impressive to make the weight only 980g but still so powerful!

Good review on a fantastic laptop...love Huawei
I'd like to buy it from Australia
Do an extensive battery test on it please.
What were your settings, FPS, and temperatures on games like cyberpunk 2077?
The price is insane
This is gorgeous design man..
Ps: just want a version made with Snapdragon X Ellite processor too
Hi. Where can I purchase? I’m in the Caribbean.
the ram can upgrade or not ? 16gb is too little
Buy the Core Ultra 9 one la, straight 32GB RAM

There's no best laptop, only the one that suits you.
Too bad they are not selling the black colour here.

If only this sells for cheaper. $2000+ for an iGPU device is not what most people would consider easily.
With such a slim form, there's no way they can have a dGPU, the engineering is what makes it expensive like any slim tech products.

I tell you here lor, speaker louder than MacBook Air and similar quality to MBP, battery life around 6 hours of regular use.
music in background so annoying
just compare it to ROG X13. :v
Why? It’s a different product category
Btw what's the price??? Lol😂
