So much to do with the OG, but still perception is interesting because I would have guessed Ricky had more lines than Taerae and Hanbin just by watching (even though it makes sense for Taerae to be 2, his vocals remained distinct throughout)

Agreed, the original is better. ZB1 is a great vocal group, but the original Jelly Pop team had crazy vocals with Hui, Seonguen and Jay (+ Hao and Gunwook ofc). Jay didn't get much lines, but I think they used his voice a lot for the background vocals from what I could hear.

matthew ate in the dance break and im happy to see gunwook keeping his iconic solo dance bit! it was nice to see them perform it but it doesn't match up to the original at all im afraid, i feel like the way they distribute lines for the bp covers are really not great? say my name was okay and hot summer was decent but then here i am was very strange and uneven. i know taerae is the strongest overall vocalist but for the higher notes it does sound a bit too harsh, i feel like they could give it to someone who might not be as good as him but has a better fitting voice like hao or ricky. anyways hopefully we can see them do a non bp cover at kcon, we need some variety! also why is ricky given the rapper role here he hasn't rapped since the bp audition 😩 if anything matthew is a rapper atp

Taerae high note was more powerful than hui, especially the pre chorus he added an extra note which is something hui was scared to do
