- woah, i finally finished my first animation meme!! i've been chipping away at this over the last 2-ish weeks between homework and during class as a de-stress project. it was really fun to work on. i want to do more animation memes with the jadebloods now!

Since a lot of people are confused about bronya's design I should clarify, I like to draw the homestuck trolls as dragon people. You can see the other trolls' snouts more clearly in the shots where they're shown in profile. Bronya's is so defined because she is the oldest of the group. I draw the trolls like that because its fun to draw and i like dragons :-)
That actually clears up a lot about this.
Did you know that Lanque is actually about an earth year and a half older than Bronya? :0
Not saying that you have to change anything or that you’re doing anything wrong of course, not my intention at all, just an interesting little tidbit of info.
@@jasminefoxj Yes, I am aware of the ages stated for Bronya and Lanque. The characters as they're presented here are the iterations of them from my rewrites/headcanon, (as the events in the video are based on one of the endings for the jade car i wrote, in which lynera kills daraya). In my headcanon bronya and lanque are from the same hatching, making them about the same age, a little older than 19 earth years ^^ I had made up the timeline of their relationship before the writers said lanque was older than bronya. so i just decided since the canon story doesn't talk about their past much but rather focuses on their ongoing conflict, it wouldn't be too much of an issue for me to make that change in order to not have to rework their whole backstory i had come up with

okay but i like the take of the trolls as dragon/oids. it's awesome (like this animation!!)
I think one of the best things about this is that there aren’t any diminishing returns watching it. Like every time I’m just like “MAN THAT WAS COOL!” Like a kid getting off a roller coaster for the first time.

I like to imagine the homestuck trolls as dragon people :-) they all have snout like faces, though it’s most obvious on Bronya. You can see daraya’s snout much more clearly in the shots where they’re shown in profile

This animation is really good, but Bronya's horse face is so distracting. She just looks so out of place, being the only one with a tail and with a face like that.
