What language are you studying?
I started studying Suomi/Finnish this year but stopped for a while. Because of K-pop and KDrama i also want to study Hangul 😂

@@caricakes ooh that's interesting. maybe try watching movies or vlogs in the language? when i was starting to learn Finnish, i'd watch English-speaking vloggers who are staying in Finland and are also trying to learn the language. So they would vlog a day of speaking Finnish. It's just more fun to learn/struggle with others. 😆

It is amazing, after being tormented all summer, that I could get one more mosquito bite during a single day that reaches 55 degrees F after being below freezing at night for weeks. We've been here since the end of May and probably going back to the states next month but I won't be missing the mosquitos.

Home made bread is the best. It rises fastest in warm environment. It does take so day but very little active time needed. Perfect for spending time in lockdown

Tip for the bread; Use lukewarm water for the yeast, a tiny bit of sugar and salt (to feed the yeast, but really just the tip of a spoon), and let it rise covered with a cloth instead of the lid, in a lukewarm place (even in the oven on 25 C for a short time, to warm it up). Usually that should work! I've made bread several times and it worked out. Also fresh yeast rises better than dry yeast (I mostly use the fresh one). Then it should take 30 min - 1h for the dough to rise
I recommend putting a spoon of honey in your dough to give it a hearthy taste (I also used dried rosemary once and it was amaaaazing).
Good luck with your next bread! You gotta use up that yeast!!

The kans grass, you got that in winter, we get that here in autumn they cover entire fields and they get so tall. I've seen fields of about 8 feet tall kans grass they look ethereal..

Very varied! Give you rice cooker and the yeast another chance. The yeast could be anything up 35° (or something, Im sure the internet knows) and anything under 21°C will be counterproductive.
im definitely going to give it another go!!

I miss exhibitions, restaurants, cinemas ... Here in France, everything is closed except for shops and we have to go to work. It's what we call "métro, boulot, dodo". So sad ... But today I visited a friend in the city of Versailles (I know, I'm lucky !) and we walked in the park near the palace. It was so nice !

If your rice cooker has a yoghurt setting you can use that to make it rise quicker.
a little tip: if you bake with yeast, take warm water and sugar. yeast loves sugar and then cover with a dampened tea towel.
