The likelihood of a lawsuit on the grounds of false advertising being effective is close to zero.
When the law looks at false advertising cases, all they really care about is what's listed on the game case and on the store pages. There's no reference to jiggle physics on either. There's also no reference images of the censored outfits on either (probably specifically for this purpose)
My guess is that any lawsuit tangentially related to video game booba is going to get laughed out of the court...

First, if you haven't already, pull your psn subscription and never ever again buy digital products from Sony. That's what I'm doing. Even if they reverse their decision on stellar blade, unless i see a drastic change in mindset, i will not give these people another dime of my money, period. They've lied to me and lost my trust.
Next step, contact major shareholders of Sony stock, respectively. And inform them that because of this situation, and that you've made a promise to stop supporting Sony products indefinitely and that you would recommend the shareholder invest in another tech company that respects their consumers. A few thousand RESPECTFUL emails, and i promise you, Sony stock will drop like a bad habit. This is the same tactic woke boycotters use on products that refuse to comply with censorship demands. It's about time companies learned the shoe doesn't fit on this foot either.

Thing is, for Shift UP, money is not their aim with Stellar Blade im sure. yYa the money is great but they are after the prestige of creating an amazing game. Censorship is NOT their vision. Shift Up makes 30--50 Million a month with Nikke. I 100% expect them to make the fans happy, as they have done previously with Nikke when the fans were unhappy. They made the necessary changes when needed.
And Tencent has their hands on Shift Up too, notorious for censorship like Sony.

You don't buy games like Stellar Blade, no point in fighting for games like Stellar Blade. It's rare we get a game like this with this high of quality and budget. The last game like this that I recall was the Remake of NeiR Replicant.
It's very highly unlikely that Sony will listen to anyone but the woke mob. Shift Up on the other hand...has no power. Sony has the final say on certification of any file that can be played on a playstation.
Shift Up won't hold any power until they can port the game to PC, and even then, if Sony has the PC publishing rights, then Sony will have final say. However, modders can get to work and reverse any censorship from Sony. And I hope Shift Up does their next game without Sony. Just stick to PC and let it be uncensored, like the fans want.

I think the Drake meme is really saying "A bit of sexiness from a Korean game" = bad; "unwanted nude scene with androgynous woman" = good. I think the reason why gamers win is because it's literally a community as diverse as America. EVERY type of community, maybe aside from the Amish, has gamers. You can just as easily find an overweight dude living in his moms basement as you can find a successful, fit, famous actor or a middle-aged mom who plays video games. It's not just for "nerds" anymore.
Sony can't really help themselves lately. First is Stellar Blade cencorship, then Tsukihime cencorship, and finally Helldiver 2 dumpster fire which is the worst of all.
Sony stock prices actually went up a bit since the Stellar Blade release, it’s doubtful if they will bulge.
bad news on the Helldivers 2 front: Sony is making it mandatory for Steam players to make a psn account to continue playing it. this is a problem for those that cannot play or buy plsystation products. Helldivers 2 was sold in 190 countries, an estimated half of the Helldivers 2 players are on pc's Steam app. if this change goes through like a lot of people think it will, only 60 out of 190 countries will be allowed to pkay. and no, vpn's are not helping. people are getting banned for using vpn, as it seems to violate Sony's tos.

They can't get their way with Stellar Blade, so now they are coming for Hell Divers 2 on PC.
It would cost less and make MORE money, if they just made a censored version for kids and "feelers" and an Uncensored version for the adults and "form fans", for all new games, than to make only one version for the kids and "feelers".
This is a "no brainer."
"UNCENSORED" sells like hot cakes.

I wouldn't get my hopes up about that tweet about updates and here's why. They censored they game 1 day after launch and if it was the case where they took that into consideration they would have simply removed the update which wouldn't take a day. I think if they're updating anything it'll be done over a span of time to the update that's already there.

Just disconnect your console from the Internet and you can Play the Game without it updating. If you connect to the internet while it's installed it will update so be careful.

I feel a lot of sympathy for the peeps behind Stellar Blade, I mean they just wanted to make a good game, but then they got caught right smack dab in the middle of the culture wars. It can't be easy! But it is what it is, I'm proud of gamers for standing up and drawing a line in the sand, but I do worry about the other side. Because DEI and all that is coming from the UN, Wef and others. So gamers are fighting one battle in a much much bigger war, because DEI is meant for everything, not just gaming

Hard to say, as long as they don't censor more things everything will be fine. Honestly this game didn't having anything worth censoring in the first place and the jiggle physics are only really noticeable on a couple of outfits. If anything I hope they fix the dodge window cause that window is insane to time right.
