Beth Orton is the WORST singer to ever get a record deal. But also a master of song writing. I have every CD she's made and I listen to her music constantly. My favorite artist I guess. Doesn't make sense but she's easy to listen to....very real.
A great musician always goes back to their roots. This almost sounds like your early stuff with The Red Snapper. I've been a fan of yours since I heard your voice on Strange Cargo's Hinterland. I have all your records except the color reissues that only came out overseas. 😭

I agree this song has taken BO to another level and the live version at Maida Vale is even better. The voice may be weakening but who cares when she takes you to heaven like this.
