On a logical viewpoint most likely happened from inexperience with running full speed. As a guy whose done races it's important to prep for the turns other wise you just gonna eat it like she did x.x been there done that, not fun, and in reality you end up with a lot more scrapes and bruises haha.
The animation for Komi and Netsuno is awesome and feels very dynamic. The fall to the ground, the recovery and the final full speed sprint... the studio OLM is doing a great job with this show.
