I'm lost with this show
It has NOT been cancelled but it was the cast who decided this should be the last season and that they wanna move on. Greatest sitcom ever made so underrated sometimes

Okay so grace is pregnant...again.
Will she keep it? are we getting an abortion storyline? Is she going to have a misscarriage (isn't it a "high risk" pregnancy at her age?) Does she want to keep it?
Tbh I don't know how to feel about Will & Grace having kids. For Will, I'd be happy if he adopts one or via surrogate (Enter Demi Lovato) because it's always been a dream of him to start a family. But I kinda don't want Grace to have one, she even said at the baby shower that she's happy with her choices and I hope the writers didn't forgot it.
I don't know how to feel about the writers reusing the plot of the original ending. I think they're pretty aware of what there doing and I sure hope it's gonna be a funny, bittersweet emotional farewell😭😭😭

No, he doesn't come back! Grace, I doubt she is pregnant, Demi Lovato will play the role of a surrogate mother this season, but I think it will be Will's substitute that I understand a baby with McCoy would have. They are supposed according to the publications of the producer of the series.
Maybe Will and Grace both will have a child of their own by the end of the season and they will raise their 2 kids in clsoe friendship?

I don’t get what everybody’s problem is - we’ve got 3 more brilliant seasons (3 full seasons as well) of an awesome show!? And your all moaning “why bring it back if it’s only for a few years”... It was never going to be anywhere near as long as the original run, they’re all more established actors now and are a lot older so their priorities change. 🤦🏼♂️

I love will and grace but they shouldnt had rebooted, the original ending, is well kinda real and kinda sad, it was great.
Had to be the final season because they were going to cancel it.

Why give away that Grace is pregnant? Are there no surprises left? Movie trailers give away the end all the time. The movie Judy had the very last line and the movie Good Boys had the whole last scene in the trailers.....why?

I've no doubt W&G will be back a third time. BUT: why have they saddled Grace with pregnancy again?! They did this already, and it dragged the series down! A huge part of the revival's comedy has been watching these 50-somethings refuse to grow up!
@Devonte Huntley "Dragging the series down" doesn't mean ending the series... as you say, W&G's eighth season had already been established at its last. "Dragging down" means "bogging down" or "saddling"... i.e. adding a storyline that makes the whole season that much heavier and less interesting. In sitcom lore, babies do that. Just look at Friends... they had to find ways to keep Emma out of most s9 and s10 episodes in order to keep it funny.
Your interpretation of the retcon is wrong: according to the current series, Grace was never pregnant, that's the whole point. And yes, Grace is too old to be pregnant now... that's entirely my point, you moron.
I don't agree that the reboot was a missed opportunity to see how the kids turned out. Again, that would have "dragged the series down" and made it much less about Will, Grace, Jack and Karen. Why dilute the brand by focusing on other characters? The reboot started off exactly as it should have done by focusing on these four, then reverted to sitcom type by adding a pointless (and pretty unbelievable) pregnancy.
Grace dies in childbirth and Will and McCoy raise her kid with theirs. The end.
Wow, poor Miss Messing is enormous. And they put her in outfits that make it worse. This reboot didn't match up with the original series, especially the first several years. It was worn out by the time it was cancelled the first time. Writing sucked.
