Updated Graphics include new models, new animations, new building construction animations, FPS optimization, some bug fixes such as the weird lightning effect and more.
Current bug - no portrait animations.
still those drops from 90fps to 19fps sometimes can be deadly.
makes you appreciate the amazing job they did with sc2 engine
@@johnnyxp64 Yea there is still more optimization that has to be done, but it doesn't stutter/freeze as much anymore
@@bookofflames9016 i know. the classic team devs are the ones i can trust in Blizzard. is so funny you know...i still remember bright as day, when w3 was announced as fp wow game, everybody riot, them became more rts again with 6 Races then down to 4, and again when was released so many didn't like the RPG hero elements in it...then became a classic and all loved it after 10years... just like Diablo 2, so many complaining about ruins and whatever they didn't like not having an End Game... then when diablo 3 was released everybody praised Diablo 2 and LOD...
nostalgia just make us crappy things look so cool a decade later..
so i wonder how fans will react today if next weekend Blizzard announces also Diablo 2 LOD "recursed" edition 🙄😁
@@johnnyxp64 The SC2 engine was in development for about 12 years total ('03 to '15), if memory serves and was continuously improved up to LotV. Sadly the WC3 engine didn't get this much love haha! I was wondering what they were planning on doing with the WC3 engine, replace it with the SC2 engine and just change the models or patch the current one. Apparently, they patched the current one (increased buffers, 64-bit, new modeling/lighting engine etc.). I hope that it can handle the custom maps properly, those LTW games could wreck the game at certain points haha

This is way better! I absolutly love the dragonhawk moving portrait and I think that should be the standard for all the units. Also the animations are starting to look more natural and to be fair, many of them look like proper final versions. On the other hand, their biggest problem seems to be the fact that the terrain is too bright in comparation to the units and it has very powerfull color contrasts. If they can make the ground look somehow darker and less contrastant and the units a little bit brighter, with more vibrant team colors, I can asume that would solve this.
Anyway, I can't wait to play this game again!

Let's cut to the chase, basically: MOARRRR, I NEED MOARRR OF THIS
It appears to me that they got rid of blood elves in the Alliace and replaced all of the elves (priest, sorceress, Dragonhawk and spellbreaker) with High elves. Spellbreaker now has blue runes on his shield, not fell once. Priest, sorceress and Dragonhawk are clearly high elves eventhough we can hear Dragonhawk rider say: "for the blood elves". The odd one out is the Blood Mage, who still retains all of his blood elveness. Strange... yet I think that they are going for High Elves in W3 for lore reasons. I do wonder if we are going to see the blood mage with blue eyes.

As you have access to this beta I really want to play Reforged
How are you playing 3v3 and VS AI? When I load up my beta I can only queue for 1v1 or 2v2 and have no AI options.

what are your system specs? I played beta yesterday and it looked very laggy to me. The game would lag everytime I changed the camera pitch by scrolling up or down.
They didn't talk when you click every unit after updating the new look.

The only thing that ever annoyed me about Warcraft 3 was 100 units was the cut off, I wish you go so much farther like in Starcraft.
Everything else looks good to my eyes apart from the Paladin's haircut and the Blood Mage's face portrait or icon.
Nice 👌. Only thing its left is the custom maps TD, warchasers etc. Even dota reforged would be most welcome 😉 .

can you record new gameplay but with MSI afterburner overlay i'm curious how much CPU cores utilize Reforged engine and what are max CPU clocks frequency during gameplay ?
It is optimized for the multithreaded performance, it uses around half of my cores, old engine only uses 1 core.
Just me or does the phoenix look less intimidating and kinda fragile.

I mean sure the units and graphics are updated ... but is it really ONLY getting that? I NEED pathing improvements or i won't be able to play it. I am not asking for a remake, but its more than the graphics that have aged imo.
It looks good! But it still needs a lot of work and that water seems really weird
I think colours are too faded, it's impossible to identify things on your screen when you have a lot going on, but that might be just conversion on RUclips.

I think the UI is still a WIP... they had quite a different one in the Blizzcon demo
They couldn't reduce the lower UI space? It makes no sense to have open sides

I don't want to be hater but honestly I don't feel enormous graphics improvement and all the new models seem indistinguishable from the environment and also in big fights - this is one of the major things pros would definitely like to have in order to switch...

this is wc3 with updated models, I think wc3 reforged will use different engine to make is all more smooth

Im kinda sad about this remake. Was really hoping blizzard would push the game to its graphical limit with the modern hardware we have. Instead what we got is a polished skin update that they're charging a full game for.....

I dont like the building animation of workers, old one was better. Farm should also start with a foundation not a almost completed house from the beginning. Also, paladin portrait wtf??
The old one was them literally wacking the building with their hammers, this one actually looks like they’re building something.

Using team colors and always showing hp is worst things that people do in this game.

Haircut of paladin is terrible. He should look dignified, not like teenager. And those peasants builds with axe while voice is like hammer. Blizzard pls fix it!!!!
