Founder to Founder: Keianna Harrison, HER Home Design

In our Founder to Founder series, we spend time with female founders in a variety of industries to learn their why, what they’re building, and how they’re creating spaces for others through their work. Today, we’re spending some quality time with Keianna Rae Harrison-Williams of HER, LLC, encompassing a family of companies.
About our guest: Keianna Rae Harrison-Williams, M.A., PhD, is a seasoned entrepreneur and the owner of HER LLC, a respected family-owned business in Indianapolis. With extensive experience in the design-build industry, she leads a family of companies, including HER Design Build LLC, HER Home Design Boutique, and HER Home Design Academy, Inc., all focused on transforming spaces and empowering women. Keianna Rae is committed to education and workforce development, implementing innovative training programs and strategic partnerships to equip individuals with essential skills for success in design and construction. She manages a skilled team of 14, fostering a collaborative work environment.
As the founder of the HER Home Design Academy, a non-profit organization, Keianna Rae focuses on training individuals in interior design, architecture, remodeling, and construction. The Academy's initiatives, like the Prototype Series, offer valuable skills and opportunities for students and adults, aligning with Indiana's Next Level Programs of Study.
Outside of her professional commitments, Keianna Rae is a dedicated wife and mother of two sons. She aims to leave HER LLC as a legacy for her sons, instilling values of leadership and community service.
