2017 and F1 games still can't make a proper damage system... I swear F1 games from 10 years ago did it better, it's fucking impossible in F12017 to completely lose a front tyre and the back end of cars seems undestructible, also almost no lateral damages and 0 chance of barrier damages after crashing... what do these guys work on every year
It's the licensing. FIA won't let them have more damage than they have, because some sponsors will get damaged and they won't allow that. In some other Codemasters games the damage is a lot better, but they just don't have the licensing to do it yet...
At least the general physics are better
Do FIA also don't allow the game to look realistic?
They have been doing it for 8 years and it still look cartoonish

Why do people judge games based on the damage system when you're not supposed to crash in a racing game?
Let me give you an example. In GTA your not supposed to fail a mission (like any other game) but you're able to right??
Giovanni Tirado is there cut scenes and all of that for when you fail a mission? If you fail a mission all that happens is MISSION FAILED and it restarts it.
It adds to an overall realistic experience. You're not supposed to, but it happens in real life. Not that hard to understand.

I can not remember the cod master F1 game I had but it had an add on so an accident was more real. 200mph and stopping in 50 years is just sill and the the video stops.
I would love to see it were I can stop the video letting me sit there is a messed up car for a second or two also I would like to see injuries to the driver again 200mph and I can star the next practice. I want
1 my car to fail
2 better accidents
3 longer video of that accident
4 injured so I can not race for a while.

Go play Beam NG drive if you want to crash. Don't do it on F1 and ruin people's races you noobs.
