I used notion, RR, obsidian, log before, but you sold me on Remnote. Ever since using Rem, my life is 10 times more productive.

I'm a med student as well and I've been trying to use one note + Anki in the exact way that remnote combines them... definitely going to give remnote a try instead! a couple questions for you: 1) if I get remnote on an iPad is it possible to use the stylus and draw diagrams into remnote? Or would I have to draw them in another app, screenshot, then paste into remnote? 2) In your experience how easy is it to search up (ctrl + F, for example) different words/points within your whole remnote database or notebook? thanks so much!
Hey! Another RemNote user over here. ✋🏽 Sadly not possible YET (that I know of) to draw directly onto RemNote. But with that said the company is always coming out with new updates and are very much open to suggestions from users. Check out their website and Reddit page and you’ll see what I mean. Searching in the whole database is super easy, just cmd + P if I’m not mistaken. Hope that helps! 😊
I have a few questions if you don't mind and please take your time. What do you do with those pages when you're done editing them? I noticed that you created pages in the "Subject" field and those pages have within a search portal looking for a specific link, which is the name page itself. Is this right? I think that this way it isn't necessary to organize the daily pages into folders.
How do you rename the default "Pinned" to "Subjects"? And how you create different subject names into this folder? I struggled many ways but could not do. Can you please share how to? Thanks.

I think there is something inherently wrong with me , one year ago I started using anki then when remnote came out I immediately switched to it. 3 weeks ago I switched back to anki , then back to remnote then notion of all things then remnote again and now I am using notion again. Help please ‽
Nothing is wrong with you. The paradox of choice is very common among students using apps because there’s so many! 😅 try sticking to the app you’re most comfortable with and remember that it’s not the tool that matters, but the techniques you apply (in case of studying, that’s active recall and spaced repetition)
RemNote works offline! You can make multiple knowledge bases. If I remember correctly, on the desktop application you can make a local-offline database that doesn't sync. Also, in a synced knowledge base, you can work offline if everything has been pre-loaded. This will automatically sync once you're online again.

Meanwhile, you can access remnote.io via your browser and it should all sync up. Although, inputting data isn’t that easy on mobile devices. I mostly use RemNote on my iPad and iPhone for practicing flashcards on the go.

how do you get the tickboxes into the sidebar ? is this a feature of the pro version?
Not at all! Head to your settings menu in RemNote, and click the “Sidebar” tab. Over there, you’ll be able to toggle on and off the little checkboxes.
