Thanks for your comment. I do try full tutorials on most accounts but this one sort of fell through the cracks a bit. Sorry I was unable to video all of it.
thank you for the video, I too love to use marker on my acrylic projects but felt limited to posca paint markers and faber-castle pitt markers because I was told they are considered archival and lightfast. do you feel the marker you use are as well? does it really matter? does the varnish help in this case. I would to find additional inexpensive tools to help make things easier and cheaper. thanks
I am not certain how archival it is but I do add isolation coats to all my paintings 24 hours before I varnish. If you have not viewed my tutorial video on isolation coats here is a link: ruclips.net/video/u2jybIB-1YQ/видео.html
I'd never risk doing that with a commissioned painting! I'd be concerned about it changing colour (sometimes reddish). Not sure a coat would stop that from happening?
I would have loved to see you do this whole painting. Your work is amazing. Please come back with a full tutorial soon! ❤

So far so good! I've been doing it for a few years now and have not seen that happen! Who knows after a few decades!
@@MarcHarvillArt Good to know! Thanks for the reply :D
Can you use the marker on oil?
I have been able to use sharpies and felt tips on oil so long as they are in think coats of paint. The thicker the oil paint the harder it is to bind.
