When I accepted Christ the pastor said I had to speak in tongues. He was praying “Lord give her the gift of tongues” and pushing down on my head so hard I was starting to get dizzy. Finally I remembered in my Greek Bible it reads “tongues” as “languages”. So I opened my mouth and prayed in Greek. “Please Lord make this man stop pushing my head down he’s giving me a headache”. He thought it was babbling and started jumping around all happy that he helped me get the gift of tongues. Little did he know it was Mrs Pavlou my Greek teacher in primary school.
