My little organizational heart just loves how simplistic and clean your homeschool area is.
Always love homeschool room tours! Our room is small and has to serve as a playroom and school room (3 year old and 6 year old). Its tricky, but making it work. I love how you have baskets under each bookcase. Great tip for creating extra storage space!
Love your homeschool room. My homeschool room is such a disaster and I don't know where to start lol. I think I need to get a sitter and just tackle organizing first. I love how you mix cute decor with functional school pieces. Thanks for sharing!!!!

I love watching your video on homeschool set up. We are doing distance learning for my 11th grader and have not homeschooled sense 2013 so this helped in setting up an environment for my son. Also, we got very inspired seeing your National Park poster. We do plan to get one to in order to set the theme of the room. Have an amazing and blessed day!

*ETA- I ❤️ our pencil sharpener. You’re right! It is the best. I bought it at the recommendation of my son’s Kindergarten teacher when he was in public school. She said it had lasted her for years, through MANY little kids. My son is starting 7th grade, we’ve been homeschooling for 5 years, and the sharpener still seems brand new.
Love it! Do you possibly have more info on the kids binder with their flow, typing chart, and chore chart in a video? I’d love to see how you set it up. I think my older kids are ready to have something like that 🥰

I buy too many workbooks that end up not being used. I buy our textbooks used from thriftbooks and currently have up to grades 2-5, but I feel like I buy too much ahead of time and then some of it goes unused as well. I'd just feel bad if I spent alot on a boxed curriculum and it didn't work for us. That pencil sharpener is awesome!
Always appreciate a good homeschool space tour. I am looking forward to cleaning ours out and adding a few new things to help add excitement to the new school year.

Love your space and all the little touches. I have the same Let's Play sign and alphabet pillow from Target and the Abe Lincoln quote sign from Michael's. One thing I want to add at some point is a nice map that we can add push pins to all the places we've traveled.

We LOVE those latchmate bins! Great school room! I love the individual desks. My kiddos are still small so they need me a lot but when they get older I would love to get them desks. ❤ Great job! (Black and white is my favorite color palate too. It's just easier on the eyes) 😊 Thanks for sharing!

Our homeschool room is almost ready, thank goodness. I literally allotted out loud,"Yes!" About the pencil sharpener. I asked for it for Christmas last year and LOVE it. 🤩
I love your homeschool room! It's so organized and we'll thought out. I need help with my room. Our homeschool room is in our basement but it is also the playroom and all the toys are down there which can be distracting. Thanks for giving me ideas for my room though!!!

Love it. I need to go through and toss or donate curriculum we are not using. I am bad about keeping it. I love the basket for TGATB math. I have left mine in the box and keep saying I need a better method.
Love the desks and chairs! I have a pre-k and 1st grader and love watching all your videos. We used a kid table all last year for school but now my 1st grader has really outgrown the toddler chairs haha. That National Parks poster is beautiful! Might need to order that.

I’m not a homeschooler, but I loved this video. Your children are blessed to have you as their teacher. You are clearly so dedicated to giving them the best homeschooling experience. Curious- did you have your house built to include this great space, or was this the original design? I love that it’s upstairs, but in a central area, and you have everything all in one space. I also love all the sweet touches that make it personal to your family.

YES! You must check it out. He does a talk about how the stars “sing” and then he adds in whales. It’s so cool. We have his science devotional, we’ve learned so many cool facts.
@@crystalrodgerson3973 we did the devotional as well. There is a new one out as well, on my wish list. This was definitely a favorite. We would often further explore the topics he shared in the daily devotions.
This looks so great, and I appreciate how it's not a closed-off room. I feel like this is similar to what our setup will be (except in the basement for us), so this was really helpful to see that it can still work and be really great!!

This is my first year home schooling, my daughter will be in 2nd grade. I'm debating on having her use math level 1 (with TGATB), vs math level 2. Is TGATB math pretty challenging compared to public schooling. I'm thinking she might be behind, due to the pandemic and school closures. Would math level 1 part 2, be enough as a review to get caught up? Also, your videos mean A LOT to me!!! I never thought I would be a homeschooling mom, but here I am, going to give it a try! Your videos have given me a lot of courage, we have a lot in common. Thank you!

Yay! I love it. I love how you have a space for you to do work too! I really need a desk. What size is this loft area? It's hard to tell. We have a loft space at the top of our stairs too, so now you have me wondering if this would be a great space to convert. Thank you!

Hello. I'm not sure if you have already done a video about how your kids binders are set up or what you keep in there but I am very curious how they look Inside. We are moving to mostly all the good and beautiful and we have the plastic bins also. My kids have their binders from our old system which was more of a worksheet system. They love the binders and want work in their but as you know the good and the beautiful is all bound and way too pretty and functional to rip out lol. Just looking for ideas to incorporate their binders and was thinking of putting weekly planners for them in there as well. Do you have their plans listed in there also? Thanks

This is my favorite kind of video! Question about the IKEA desks. Do you find that they are big enough? Enough surface space? My daughter (entering 7th grade) is using a table currently, and spreads everything out all over the place. She doesn't really need all of the stuff, but it spreads because it can. Do you feel like your older kiddos will outgrow them or will they continue to work?
They still fit but they definitely can’t unload everything onto it. They take out one thing at a time.
What do you do with all of the years work they have done in the previous years?
My homeschool room currently looks like a bomb went off in it 😂.

Do your kiddos take piano lessons or do you use an app or other online program? I can't recall if you've addressed that before. Sorry if you have! :) Also, we've done TGTB space unit and we liked it...it's a great unit! Also, did you get your microscope from Amazon?
No formal lessons just fun!
