OMG 🥹🥹🥹! This shooting is super special for me as well! Thank you for your kind words and I am so glad I had the opportunity to work with you and all amazing crew! I do miss you all and Beppu!! 🙏☺️
It all clicked well on that shoot and you were a huge part of that , we hope one day to work with you again :).
@@AskMOTT I really hope we can work together again!!! 🙏🙏🙏
Great advice! I worked freelance with one agency for more than 30 years. They hired me for one enormous corporate job spanning three months, driving coast to coast, shooting up to four sites every week. When I met with the art director before the start of the job she gave me a list of sites and contacts. The creative brief was, "Go make nice photos." Trust, it's everything in this profession.
Justin, thank you! This is another outstanding Video. There is no better way for effective learning than learning from good examples of professional excellence. And this is what your video conveys. With this approach you are unique. It is also great to see your great team at work. Please keep on the great worK!
Thank you Ralf, I do have a fantastic team with me led by my wife.
Great stuff Justin, fantastic execution. I also enjoyed your conceptual street photography work. Would love to see more of your conceptual work as well.
I enjoy seeing and hearing other photographers discuss their process and ideas. Its always fascinating how different someone's approach may be to ones own. Also the results produced by the implementation of that process with the unique approach. Although the results and the grear tend to become less interesting aspects as the years and decades go by.
Ps. Phenomenal model & location, clarity of vision and approach have made this truly exceptional.
Beppu, Japan will live in all our memories - and plans - forever now. Thank you.
It's a special place.
3 weeks!!!! Whoa. What a luxury.
Well yeah it was more like two week shooting but the typhoon and the scouting and the days in between segments added up to about 3 weeks as we created a ton of pre-opening content for them :)
Another fabulous shoot. Have a great weekend.
You have a fantastic weekend as well Debra, thanks.
Excellent photos 👌
Along with the photography parts on these videos about your shoots could you add a bit about the logistics: where you stay, how you manage the gear? Your life on the road, etc.
Hello Robert, well for hotels shoots it’s simple we stay at the property at are shooting always . I can do a commercial gear breakdown when we pack for our next shoot .
Wow, gorgeous photos and video, stellar work sir.
Thanks Jay , beautiful property.
Although most of what was seen in this video is moving images your hand is in them. You do have a fine sense of color, composition and content and use shadow well. I am noticing that good photographers are able to make shadow work for them, A nice collection if images. Thanks.
This was very valuable, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching :).
I love the color grading and slight slo-motion effect. The aesthetic is very Japanese! Beautiful work!
Thank you Dan, the property truly made our job easier, it’s such a special place.
