    I have 3 al0’s on order. I wouldn’t look at the gold shell al box 2 unless it was under 1300 because I can get 2 al0 for just over 1400 and get more hashrate with less wattage.

    I’m looking into mining , I got $1000 to spend on a miner, I would like the ROI to be within 6 months and to be profitable , I’m thinking about the IceRiver AL0 to mine ALPH, or the GoldShell KA Box Pro to mine KASPA , how did you choose tho ? Both KASPA OR ALPH are predicated to go up in price as for the coin, but idk if it’s too late to get into mining KASPA as ROI would be much longer than the ALO mining ALPH but at same time PROFITABILITY for ALPH is going down by the day, it was just at $15 / day with the AL0 last week now it’s like $10 a day . That’s still good but still that’s with the AL0 not being out yet and is pre order to come early September ish, idk, what do you think ? Should I grab the GOLDSHELL KA BOX PRO and mine KASPA , or the IceRiver AL0 and mine ALPH? Or just put that money into buying crypto or what ?

    Bang on Mota. I've decided to grab one, and crossing my fingers Tswift will come out with an OC. I'm thinking by the time these get into our hands these will bring in 4-7usd daily before electric. 5.5-6.5 months ROI. Do we know what Nm these chips are? I'm thinking 5nm?? Goldeshell still selling the box 1 at 1500usd is just ridiculous, and your right they keep doing that. The box 1 should be 4-600usd mainly because of the efficiency. But I guess because they were first to the punch they think they own the pricing, but they are going about it all wrong. But I do like the craftsmanship. It's just hard to ROI the goldshells.

    i think its a no brainer. i picked up two. i love the idea of mining and generating passive income. i have the a strong belief in the project and think it will see at least a 5 x from here, conservatively. i see mining like DCA’ing. no matter the price its producing. the hashrate would have to go up exponentially to exceed power cost profitability. so long as its profitable im happy to keep it running. two will only cost me 1 aud a day

    • @miningstacker
      @miningstacker  6 месяцев назад +1

      That's my exact mindset and that's the best way to view it , as a way to DCA , or as my buddy @hashforce coined, it's ECA , electric cost averaging. May work extremely well ,maybe not, but I think at worst it will "breakeven" overtime, I'm more of a proponent of yield vs fiat profitability. Either way , alph is one of my bull market holds that I want to continue stacking , so it works for me.

  • @zombiator4hire
    @zombiator4hire 6 месяцев назад +3

    Im pretty sure in one of your older videos you made a comment that really had me thinking. For ALPH the price doesnt need to appreciate much more. It could stay right around this level and profits for ASICS are simply based on who has the most efficient hashrate. Sell pressure as miners go online wont mean much as long as price holds above a dollar. The big manufacturers only need to keep pumping enough to keep their units profitable. The bitmain units could 35x network hashrate and still have crazy profits at three to four dollar ALPH. I'm thinking the time to get into the project for profit was when it was less than fifty cents.

    • @miningstacker
      @miningstacker  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah , the game changer was the entity lifting that hashrate before these units made it online and thats what also wrecked goldshell because it plummeted the yield so quickly , which is why they thought they could get away with that initial 15k price point because of that lead , but that entity quickly lowered rewards and wrecked their plan prematurely. So if there was no entity, would have been much more appealing initially to try and get that crazy yield , but not happening anymore as hashrate has already 4x'd between entity and goldshell prior to these iceriver/bitmain units. So now that initial phase is over and alph does need to appreciate to support a 30k Asic, unless they are very limited , which may happen , now that it got massively less appealing because the ks0 is matching the bitmain unit at scale. But yes , the biggest winners here are the ones who GPU mined it or bought as recently as last October at under .20 . The name of the game here is the hope for alph to have a massive run in the future and just let this 100w miner just stack. The better play here is potentially waiting for batch two /three once hashrate moons and yield/fiat profitability go down massively and prices come down on bigger models as long as alph continues chopping or goes down further, but if alph moons before then , kind of messes that plan up. Lots of variables here though , will have a better idea in Sept once we see where the hashrate is trending , but currently ok, but not too great.

  • @annykhan355

    Well, Iceriver are leaders for Alph miner and I need a bit suggestion on whether to get 3 of these Al0 or even 2 Al0 compare to getting one Jasminer X16q 1950 as the prices for jasminer are very low too?

    • @miningstacker
      @miningstacker  6 месяцев назад +1

      I'm honestly waiting to see if they do release another model here in the next few days , but man, if it's the 1950 m/h jasminer , that's a pretty good deal, that's about the price of the x16qe. The jasminer will be more profitable for longer , 6 months later , odds are that AL0 won't be yielding much whereas the jasminer likely will be doing fairly well still.

    I ordered 1, like in your prev. vids i told u i wanted the ks0 ultra, but glad i didnt, since its costed 1800kaspa to buy and only will yield like 1700 coins while mining + elec. costs. I just hope this miner will make profit and not loses like the ultra. The big difference for me was: Ks0 ultra vs ks5l = ks0 ultra = 30x ks5l which costs 9k. ks5l = costs 5k. with alephium the small unit is same price as the big. So i think it's a safer risk! Only to bad it's a lot more expensive :/ What do you suggest, ordering from iceriver self or other companies?

    • @miningstacker
      @miningstacker  6 месяцев назад

      That comparison you did with ks0 ultra vs the ks5l is exactly why the ks0 isn't appealing for many of us, so excellent analysis there. This one will play out well in the long run I believe , will get bumpy for a bit when the hashrate increases , but do see good potential price action from alph next year , best play is to just stack and hold for next year.
      As far as where to order hard to say, not sure if we're going to get hit with the tariffs or not from ordering from Iceriver , if we don't , better deal is there as shipping is less. But to avoid that risk , resellers may be cheaper. If you are ordering multiple , will be cheaper from stores/resellers.

    My plan is to wait until the first 1-2 batches go online and profitability goes way down so the next batches will not have a stupid price, hoping for a big Iceriver's unit like AL3 L/M, and hoping that ALPH price doesn't moon because if this happens, of course, the prices won't go down.

      Yeah, definitely not super appealing , but just went ahead and got one just for potential future price appreciation , think we're just hoping that these manufacturers pump alph a bit , 😂

      they should give a free alph update to the people that got the ultra..
      selling the ultra for 800 is just a scam

      They just need to get their prices in check , hopefully all they start paying attention to all the negative feedback. Products are decent , it's the pricing that's just plain stupid at times.

      @@miningstacker True, never owned a Goldshell but almost went for one of these. The way I see it is that Tswift will eventually get a firmware upgrade to make these AL0s do about 560 gh/s each which would make 2 of these hashing around 1 th/s. Wouldn't be so bad before the AL0 Ultras which are pretty much predicted to come out.

      @WolfManCer 100000% , that's really the hope here, because then that will make it cheaper $ to T/h than bitmain, it's going to be a race for getting as much hash as possible so not too worried about efficiency difference. That would be a huge bonus for sure.
