It took me a while to realize that you were doing r2 and r3 all the way around (on both sides), but once I figured it out it's going along great!! Thank you for this tutorial
💯 agree! I got so frustrated cause I thought I was doing something wrong, so I tried it with another hook and yarn to check and same thing, so I looked at the comments to see if maybe I was doing something wrong and this comment was exactly what it was. It never specified or said all the way around. Normally just the row across and not around fully. It's finally turning into a purse lol, but taking a break cause my hands hurt and it's bedtime lol.

Thank you for sharing :) To be honest it’s quite hard to follow the instructions though, thankfully a comment below helped me understand the first couple rows but now the strap is pretty confusing and has no instructions at all so I’m struggling to finish the beautiful bag 🥲

I understand Round 1 but what do you do in Round 2 when you get half way round? Do you just continue the star stitch or do you do 2 dc and slip st and chain 3?
Hi there..what if i want make a little bigger bag than this one...should i add on more chains in the beginning i.e 1st round?
yes! Changing the length just involves adding more chains. I would keep it an even number just in case. If you want it taller just add more rows!
