Omg I relate to when you try to draw what you studied and your brain goes blank lol. I’ve also learned on my improvement journey that you need to draw things over and over and drawing it once it’s just about wanting to save time tbh. We look at artists we admire and often times they are really fast so we think we should do the same but we forget that these artists have years of knowledge and skills that developed throughout those years. I’m glad I found your channel loving your stuff!💖💖
Thanks so much! yes absolutely and often times we forget that those artists we admire draw so much in the background and so much of it we don't see. Art is a skill that takes a long time to develop so once is certainly not enough

I really appreciate the input :D I think it's definitely looking like I'll have a mix of both the in app and the screen record, I do like going back and forth too and I'm glad it helps! maybe when I get tons of footage of my cat I'll make a cat only video For me its more like the latter? I don't force myself to "practice" every day but I definitely draw everyday, I just need to make sure I fit in a session or multiple sessions in a day even of practicing for it to work for me. I'm honestly not someone that works too well with a strict timetable but having a daily goal or a weekly goal really works for me. Look forward to the next few videos
