Great project....really threw me when you went reel first into the tube!. I’m making same for my Jeep ,but 6’ for my UL spinning gear...and hiking poles.
Hey Warren. I did that just in case of quick stops with the car I didn't wan the rod tips to slide up and break. I'm not sure if that is the correct way to do it, but that's what made sense to me. lol.
Haha great vid!...it looks massive on the golf!...i was wondering what you were going to do with a tube that large..figured you carry alot of rods with you....i personally probably would have went with a 2 or 3 inch and toss a rod or 2 in the tube without the reels attached. Anyhow, how is it holding up?
It's so awesome man!! not only does it lend to some amazing quick fishing but I get asked questions about it all the time while I am out. It's a great way to bring my channel up. Thanks so much for all of the support.
Reagan Mason more like Reese kit-$60 PVC - $30and he left out the foam for the front cap, spray paint, decals and mini pad lock, another $50 $140 later
Nice, but bolting and unbolting every time you need the car, you will need something of a quick on off interlocking system, with a little imagination and ingenuity and a little hardware you'll have it.
Great question! The conduit kit (brackets and pvc endcaps) was $55. The PVC pipe I think was $15. Total build is about 65/70 dollars if you already have the tools (saw, wrench, and screwdriver).
Hahaha Thanks. That cart made a pretty useful work station considering I could never have gotten that pipe inside my car. It's a Yakima roof rack. I just had it installed a couple weeks ago. I had one on my previous vehicle but of course they have updated the system and there was no way to transfer it. None the less it works great and is super sturdy.
Love the quick work out with the tube when you pulled it off the shelf!!!!
Right?!

@@plumfishing5158 thats smart Im in the process of making one also didn't even think about that
Were the end caps and u bolts packaged together and purchased from Lowes also?
Cool man, i have special room in my life for gti's and fishing. God bless.
Same
Man, I love how you use the shopping kart. I would do the exact same thing😂
Now lower your car, so it's easier to load and unload. It will also be faster, so you can get to fishing in fewer minutes.
Coilovers = more fishing
What is the name of the end cap that opens??

My plan exactly!! Great minds think alike.
Good idea but huge pipe on the car
alhumaidy alenzi yeah! I love it. So many people ask me about it and it gives me a great way to mention my channel. 😃
How much did the total project cost?

$15? Wow. The 6” pvc at my Lowe’s is $46.
@@jtsarby Same here; I don't know where you can get 6 inch pvc for $15; 4 inch maybe but not 6 for that price here either.
Gave up watching after 3 minutes I was being boarded to tears . Get on with it
Good idea, I like the "in lot" cutting and install (I need to try that sometime). What rack system is installed on car ?

Hi..How i wan buy cap n butt pvc? U sale that part?
I do not sell it. You can buy it on amazon. It is called a Conduit Carrier kit.
Thanx a lot bro.
How many can u get in there ?- not worth it for 1 rod in my opinion. Great idea though
A good video thanks
4 minutes he starts to build jt
What are the dimensions???
What r the dimensions
Oh man, how awesome is that stupidly loud music vs his super quiet voice?
Hi
I hate that in order to do more then one rod you would need to take the reels off. You would be fine if your were a baitcaster guy.
why would you think that we will like to see you pulling all your junk out of the car? 45 sec and still nothing on the tutorial.
Horrible way to treat your gear. A dark place with no moving air to dry me out after our fishing trip.
