Fantastic, curious and well presented extension version of Moon Raker brazilian locations. Congrats to my dear friend Claudio Rodrigues and to the Chanel production, indeed! Brazil is a great great country and all of our beauties are not quick listable but Rio de Janeiro and my hometown Fortaleza (state of Ceará, at the northeast) are amazing places for visiting. Great job on e more time, guys!
I am so glad seeing my very good friend Claudio Rodrigues sharing his enormous knowledge about our beloved hero 007!!! I know so well How Claudio dedicates his fun time to explire each detail of each James Bond movie. Congratulations to onthetrackof007 for inviting Claudio! It was a real brazillian soccer goal!!! Great!
Thanks a lot, my brother! Yeah, kudos must go to Martijn for idealizing all this! I’m so proud to be a part of it! Thank you Martijn and thank you, Helano, for such nice comments!
Excellent presentation by the true Brazilian, Fluminense and Carioca specialist in James Bond Cláudio Rodrigues. I myself was unaware of some of MOONRAKER's locations (R.U.-FR-BR, 1979) in Rio de Janeiro and the rest of Brazil. Excellent program for fans. Congratulations to the program and Cláudio Rodrigues for the brilliant exhibition.
Claudio, you are the Man!!! Great performance! Thanks for representing our country so well. Brazil is a very pleasant place. But you looks like João Gordo with this beard...
Thank you Claudio Rodrigues for the excellent research work and Martijn for the opportunity and high quality show. Claudio is very thorough on his research about movies, having visited many locations in his country but also abroad, though 007 is his specialty. This one really impressed me.
Thanks a lot, old buddy! I appreciate your nice comments very much! You’re right, all that took me a lot of research actually, and only last year I was able to find the last piece of a huge puzzle. It was a real gold mining digger work, but it has well paid off! And it was thanks to this man, Martijn Mulder, that wrote a fascinating book about Bond locations all over the world that I began dreaming about visiting the locations. Then, next step taken was to visit our own locations here! Take good care pal! Hope to see you around some time soon!
Thank you so much, Philip! I’m so glad to know that you have enjoyed the video, this means a lot for us all, Martijn, On The Tracks channel and me! Hope that it has shed some light upon some of your questions, it’s high time for an expanded episode now! Thanks again and take good care, buddy! Stay safe and healthy! Cheers!
Muito boa apresentação!! Brazil has several places that you should all come and visit! Due to it's size, there is a wide variety of culture, climate and amazing cuisine that for sure will delight visitors from just everywhere.
Thank you very much, Marcinha! I appreciate immensely your nice comments! And yes, you’re absolutely right, Brazil, in spite of all his problems, is still beautiful and a quite pleasant place to visit, because no one can take away our true and most valuable asset, which is, Brazilians, of course ! Our hospitality and joie de vivre are really rather unparalleled! So, thank you very much once again for your nice comments, I’m so glad you’ve liked it! Take good care, sweetie!
Claudinho, meu querido! Q arraso!
HOWARD WEBER says --- I was 27 when I first saw Moonraker in 1979. It`s not in my top 5 of Bond films but I still enjoy it because it has more good things in it than bad. Like the terrific pre-credit sequence and the beautiful locations. It has one of the best John Barry scores of the series. Also, the women are beautiful and Roger Moore gives one of his best performances as Bond. And yes, Dolly DID have braces but only in the original 1979 theatrical release. Deus seja conosco!
Mr. Rodrigues, Congratulations on the excellent interview. Many filming locations that have changed since then, but Rio de Janeiro and Brazil are still sensational!
Great work! Thank you for talking about our incredible and beautiful Brazil, Onthetracksof007. So, If 007 did what he did here in 1979, certainly he would have an incredible adventure if he would return in the present days. Well done, Mr. Rodrigues. Well done. I am so glad to see your recognition before the international Bond community. But 7 minutes is too short to show everything you know about 007. I hope that you could show us more about your knowledge on James Bond soon, including in some other ways (yes, brother, you know what I'm talking about here!). For now, it's excellent. Congratulations, my great friend Claudio Rodrigues.
Thank you very much, Marcão! I really appreciate your kind words and nice comments! And you were the first one who had the great idea of making a way to get together all Brazilian fans, in a large community, way way before James Bond Brasil, or any other, for that matters, and gather people up in order to visit MR locations! That was already really incredible by then, and I feel ashamed to this day that I wasn’t aware of all the places at that time, so that I could take you all there. Nevertheless, what we had back then was really something, quite special, moments that we all still hold very close to our hearts. You were the pioneer man! And now, we could all have something similar, only greater, in a much more enhanced and improved way for celebrating MR’s 45th anniversary soon! Thanks a lot, buddy, for being such a friend, such a knowledgeable fan, for being so supportive of me. And yes, I know what you were talking about back there! It’s in the oven, buddy, it’s in the oven!
No way, @@claudiorodrigues007! We did everything together, man. Each and every person played an important role in those early days of Web 1.0. Regarding the event in 2004 (MR's 25th anniversary), without you and many others, nothing would have happened. So, the kudos go to everyone involved and the event was amazing. Your support was perfect! Anyway, the most important thing is that we made many friends, from all over Brazil, being 007 just a background. This is really precious. Thank you for the special words and your friendship. You can always count on me!
Great as usual, very enjoyable Martin! on another note, the Concorde used to take Bond to Rio is apparently the same one they have on show at Bristol Aerospace Museum, there is also a picture of Moore in the cockpit with the pilots if my memory serves me right.
