- Audrey is a professional seamstress who has dedicated basically her whole life to repair pieces of clothing for lady's wear and men's wear at the heart of Scotland in the city of Edinburgh.
In this short interview Audrey speak about her professional career and the way she feels about the job she has been doing for the last forty years.

Is it just me but the music is drowning out what she says. I had to turn it up to hear her.
I'm only 15 when I was a Lil younger my mom bought me a Sewing kit and I started to make decorative pillows I stopped but the other day when I was in Walmart I looked at all the Fabrics and Sewing kits and all this amazing stuff I could learn I suddenly had a Dream after struggling to find one but now I Really want to become a Seamstress and I'm gonna Try extremely hard to achieve that dream
I am a young seamstress and this vid gives me the inspiration to keep going to follow my dream.

I love to sew, however I am by no means a professional. I respect this lady for her talent. I would love to spend time in her work shop to just look, listen and learn. She's amazing!

Interesting subject but missing the point by not answering even basic questions: couldn't understand if she works for herself & those jackets are brand new & come through a store, or are of private clients. She seems like a typical seamstress of past generations, probably extinct now: working class girl forced to make a living early on, working like a dog unappreciated & uncompensated for her dedicated hard labor & doesn't realize her true worth. This was the most important unanswered question of all! Not sure if the music was intended to add a touch of philosophical futility & despair but it did.

@@daniellobatofilms5533 Your comment is dismissive. The music IS too loud, take it as construcive criticism or plain criticism. Either way, the music needs to be turned way down. It shouldn't overpower the voices of the speaker. Turn it down when she's speaking at the very least. I shouldn't have music blaring just to hear someone speak, that's ridiculous (and didn't help). Or, provide captions . She's a soft spoken person to begin with.

I was just wondering if this was recorder with the Pana hc X2000, since I saw you using it in other videos. I'm thinking about getting it to pair it with my gh5 and really strugling trying to find footage of peopler really using it.
If so, what did you used for the audio?

Thank you very much David. I've used the panasonic AG-CX10 which is only an upgrade from the HC X2000. And I've used a directional microphone "GO VIDEO MIC' from Rode. I'm actually very happy with the camcorder. It's very small and it does the job very well to my knowledge.

She’s just altering 30 jackets a day not making them. I spent 40 years sewing f,or a living too. It’s doable.
