Great session. Yes, I signed up for Singing London for March 21. Signed up for the Digital Academy as well. Love the creative ways the Foundation has been able to reach out. As a big Voces8 fan, you all lead me to the Stay at Home Choir because of Caledonia!
Wonderful session! I wish I had been able to attend live! Not a singer, but a professional musician ( French Horn player) for 50 years from Buffalo, NY. A huge fan of VOCES8 and always fascinated about the preparation involved! ! A Masterclass in Phrasing, and Ensemble Singing! Only drawback is the ZOOM feature that only one voice at a time can be heard.
hello, from new york here, the river is Gods spirit within us , confirming to us what He already knows about us, that we are His children, and He loves us and counts each one of us as significant in His plan, so we never undervalue ourselves or anyone else. !!
Hi just catching up. Had a difficult year. I no longer sing but loved watching this. Just think VOCES8 is one of the best new singing ensembles to date, I listen to lots of chorale and voice. Great sounds, but just want to say I love Andrea's voice when her notes resonate out in some of the music you have performed as a group so far -of course you are all great and thank you
Your "Lift thine eyes" might just be the best recording of it on RUclips. You should post it as a separate recording, so we can listen to it more easily :)
Hi from Perth Australia! A bit behind because of the time difference... loved the video. Heading off now to choir rehearsal to do some of your other beautiful rep including Biebl Ave Maria, Lotti et al..... So fortunate that we are able to rehearse live now in this part of the world. Take care over in UK, hope to see you on tour here in the future?
I suppose I wouldn't be considered an upper voice as I am comfortable down to the C below the bass staff but I get nose bleeds as I approach middle C. ;) I do however thoroughly enjoy listening to your stellar upper voices.
BUT THEY SHOULDN'T IGNORE CHORAL GROUPINGS AND TRAINING BECAUSE I THINK THEY CAN FOLLOW BETTER, ORCHESTRAS AND OTHER CHORAL GROUPS as they grow from 4 yrs old to 20/21 yr olds in Church Choir, small ensembles, and of course solo acappella as they grow their voices...training ears to other sounds is important. KING SINGERS, ALL ANGELS, CAMBRIDGE SINGERS (JOHN RUTTER!)....Charlotte Church , Hayley Westenra, Lynn Hilary, any of the Celtic Women, Ahnna(sp) , Enya!Accompanied by instruments: incld. piano, organ, harpsichord, and guitar(s)... or anyother instrument suited to match the vocal part the singer is performing. SATB. ? Nice Job Ladies...I fancy El, she's fantastic, after listening to her on Lully, Lulla, Lullay by Stopford that blew me and 17 of my friends. Oh didn't know the limitations of zoom for audio channel harmony...boo to zoom.
Yes if you can hear us singing in harmony it was pre-recorded. Unfortunately the delay/latency on zoom means it's only possible to sing live with one person.
I think Katie and Andrea are muted bc of latency issues on zoom (meaning if they were all unmuted the audio would be at different times) hope that helps!!
Love this group👍🏴
Fantastic wow that was lovely thank you
I appreciate all your talents, thank you!
This has made me more determined than ever to see them live. I start each day with Voces8
That smile is a blessing for my days 😁😊🤭
thank you el and andrea and kate for singing it so beautifully
It's great to see and hear you :-)
For months I've not been singing with anyone! Thank you so much!

This is so amazing:) Thank you. Was so amazing hearing and speaking to you all in Quakenbrück 1 year ago:) What a great memory, shortly before Corona.
I found this a month late, but what joy it brings me to sing along [whilst plucking a bit at the guitar] with you three lovely ladies!
Hola, chicos, sois encantadores. Saludos. From Salamanca, Spain

Sehr aufregend! Ich bin kein Sänger, sondern Bratscher, Klavier- und Orgelspieler. Aber ihr habt mich sofort motiviert! Vielen Dank

26:47 Great piece
Note to self - Not all great singers start as choristers

@@SACWarrior70s ummm I'm not reading all that
How can I learn to sing in tune and make my voice more beautiful?
Australia😄
ADIEMUS BY KARL JENKINS PLEASEEEE! 🙏🏽 🥺
Great session! When the 3 of you singing together in 39:30, how did you do it in zoom? Or was is pre-recorded?
Yes if you can hear us singing in harmony it was pre-recorded. Unfortunately the delay/latency on zoom means it's only possible to sing live with one person.
Which software do you use to synchronize the different voices when singing online?
6:00
Watching 3 hrs later, have a question: Why can I only hear El?
I think Katie and Andrea are muted bc of latency issues on zoom (meaning if they were all unmuted the audio would be at different times) hope that helps!!
Will there be a bass sesh?
Yes! There will be a lower voices session coming up at the beginning of March - watch this space!
Eleonore immer aufgeweckt, Andrea wie stets stiller.
I THINK SOPRANO TEA, ...MUST GIVE A BETTER 'HIGH' to the Singers!
Девушка внизу, я влюблен.... Очень...
