He going play both ways. One position he will play way more than the other. I think he will be a CB but he will definitely get snaps at WR & not just a little bit, he not going play alot of plays at WR like in college but he is a football player than can do both well & he will not go to a team that won’t allow him to do both. Again he will play one position primarily but will get snaps & enough snaps to make a difference at the other. You gotta let football players be great. Stop being that old dude who stuck in your ways when you just an asshole who don’t use your players to the fullest because you trying be that old school it’s my way or the highway dude that nobody likes or wants to play for. @@TheyWanBeMe100that’s literally not a very smart approach. Football is not basketball why subject yourself to more chances of being hurt or burned out? You think the team will pay him more because he’s playing both positions? He’s not the first football player who came into the league that could play multiple positions. There’s a reason coaches don’t allow it. Deion allows it because he just wants to do anything he can for his son to win so he knows Travis is the best CB and WR so he will play him a lot. Other coaches won’t do that

But if he's as valuable as a DB as people think he is, he'll get limited on how much he plays WR just based on taking a hit at WR means that might make him unavailable for DB.

Kid has got a golden jacket working him out on the wide (T.O) and has another golden jacket tutoring him on the corner. Deion fucking Prime Time Sanders. Everything Marcellus is saying about bringing to OGS to his camp?? Bro....How many OGs are on the Buffs sideline helping these kids? You think they would be doing that if these kids are not receptive? Travis is one of th most coachable kids playing today. As a Father of offsprings Hunter's age...my older kids are 25 and 21, I will tell you this!
They CAN'T even spell the term "Constructive Criticism"
My Daughter (25) and my Son (21) both played sports from youth leagues and into college, and I will tell you, all modern day athletes...you can't tell them ANYTHING!
I played sports at the HBCU level, not big time D1 but I had Coaches in Highschool and College that played in the Pro's and I learned SO MUCH from them about sports AND LIFE!
These kids DON"T give a damn at all about the past, or a person's past experience!
My youngest child is is in 8th grade now and never leaves the field in football...but hes got teammates that think and act like they are in the NFL NOW!
Its the complete opposite of my Son's attititude because he has been taught the ropes by a family of generational former college athletes going back to my GrandFather.
In the off season, I try to help these kids, teach them, train them, watch film...all the stuff we was taught to do in our generation by the previous athletes and Coaches!
I played QB my whole life from youth-school-d1college-semi pro leagues all the way up to over 40 flag leagues now...and there was this one kid I was help training as love and respect to his Dad who I played against back in the day.
This kid was so arrogant, couldnt tell him nothing, acted like I didnt know what Iwas talking about like football didnt even exist when I was younger!
The back and fourth one time got so disrespectful that I had to tell him "Well when Coache's come and talk to your parents in your living room like they did mine...trhen we'll talk some football!"
This kid is 12yrs old and act like he a first round NFL pick!
And it was even worse with my older son...he came through in that AAU Basketball boom, and the attitude, arrogance, and entitlement of these kids was unbelievable!
And you know what makes it the WORST?
The parents feed into, support, and all think their kids are the best athletes on the planet!
And the crazy part is you hear these "non-athlete" parent talking all this crap all the time, I just laugh and don't say anything...they don't even realize my sports history in Football, or scholarship offers in basketball and track, or when the Marlins invited me to post draft Rookie Ball league after my Sr. year season...these people don't even know, I just let them talk...but they are just as arrogant, know it alls like their kids...but NEITHER have done NOTHING

He wasn’t disrespectful,if anything he’s giving Travis his perspective from what he’s been through. Coming into Stanford for WR but swapping to DB I think sherm is actually the perfect person to have this discussion with travis

I'm 44, I've been blessed to be successful in life & I literally give NO ADVICE to younger people. They don't listen, are disrespectful, & think they know EVERYTHING. This young generation is TRASH & are lost. I will say this, Richard Sherman got a little taste of his own medicine. He went off on Skip Bayless unprovoked one time. Love or hate Skip, he didn't deserve that. Everything comes full circle. This generation is a sensitive un-fathered one as Marcellus said. It's sad.

Ok, so we aren't gonna talk about the fact that Prime stepped in and got that all cleared up? Or that Travis addressed publicly why he felt some sort of way about what Sherman said. It's not that the kid is soft. It's because he grew up idolizing Richard Sherman. To have the person you most want to be like say something that while innocuous on its face but sounded like a little bit of shade, had to hurt. Travis is 21. He stays out of the way, minds his business and has said that tends to not pay attention to the things people say about him online both good or bad. But he paid attention to this because of who it came from. People have said worse to him in his comments on his YT page but this felt personal to him for the specific reason he clearly stated. He apologized for how he interpreted the comment and Richard apologized for how Travis took it. But what it took was a conversation that Prime set up. And he probably intervened because he understood where Travis was coming from. Travis is unproblematic he's a 4.0 student, he doesn't party, he doesn't spend time on socials flexing his NIL money. He games, hangs with his lady and plays football. For him to respond isn't a measure of his character, it simply shows that he's human. Let the kid play ball. He's got enough gold jackets around him as well as other players who had storied careers in the league who are mentoring him. They all commend his work ethic, his IQ and his love of the game. The first person who came to his defense was TO who has spent time with him both at JSU and CU. Telling him he can't isn't for any of us to do, it's for him to see for himself. People aren't saying he can't to help him. People are saying he can't because they feel it's some sort of disrespect for him to simply believe he can.

61 year old here.I think Travis would like to get that advice in private not on a podcast. He would respect that.Us old guys think younger Gen people don't have respect.I think they do but they aren't naive or ignorant. They know when HoFers say this in public it is for PAID analysis. At that point Richard Sherman is just another paid talking head, albeit a very experienced knowledgeable one.In the "old days",that was not necessarily a public conversation.

Young people need to realise...as soon as you make a name for yourself as an adult, in whatever field, but obviously in such a prominent space as football, you get discussed. You get talked about. You get critiqued. Even if you are the greatest prospect ever, if you act like a model citizen, you WILL face criticism from some corners. So you have to be able to accept that and compartmentalise it. This from Sherm was nothing compared to what Hunter will face once in the NFL. Especially if he thinks he can play both ways.

The only thing Sherman said wrong is that he's basically an average receiver which is far from the truth. His route running is smooth, he comes in and out of his breaks smooth, he's fast, and anything that needs tweaking , he has TO and others to help. He's really good on both sides of the ball and as the season progresses we'll see if anyone can stop him on that side of the ball ...havent seen it yet.
