Oh wow, thank you so much for this! You are our very first super thanks on our channel! ❤️ We are absolutely blown away and so grateful ☺️ It's such a nice Christmas present for us 😃❤️🇲🇾
It's definitely a lot more deserted than my mum told me it was back in the day, but we think it still has a charm to it as it's not as busy with tourists and we love a thrift store! 😅
You can't beat old school Back in the day, you get yr top street fashion, hair saloons, tailoring, and top blockbuster movies premiering there. The Makan was great as well
True. It used to combine with another, called bukit bintang plaza, to form the biggest shopping complex during their heydays. Sungei wang plaza faces lot 10 shopping complex, while the former bukit bintang plaza (demolished a few years ago to build the new mrt station) faced mcdonald's. Once you had ventured well into the complex, there was no real demarcation to indicate which of the 2 were you in at that moment, but you could tell by looking at the floor tiles, at the line where the 2 met, you could clearly see one had different tiles from the other, so that was how I knew which direction to go for the particular exit I wanted
Thanks for watching Yasin! It really was beautiful! We are heading home to celebrate Christmas with family, then heading back over in the new year! ☺️ I think the cookie was RM9, so definitely on the pricier side, but it was well worth it! 🤤
@@DisappearforDays That really sounds wonderful. Have a lovely time when you guys are back home in the UK. RM9, I guess it's well worth a try if it's good. 😀
Thanks so much, even though we've loved travelling, we've definitely missed all our friends and family so can't wait to see them all again! How will you be spending Christmas? It was definitely worth the RM9, but better to share as there was so much sugar 😅
Maybe you should explore Christmas decoration, Lalaport Sunway Pyramid, Garden Mall, Bukit Jalil Pavilion, Damansara Pavilion, and 101 Putrajaya. This is also the biggest mall.
Ahhh, we said about maybe heading over to Lalaport when we were in BTS, but was on a bit of a tight schedule! We'll have to try and check their decorations out before we leave! Thanks for the recommendation ❤️
We were thinking of Pavilion 2, but it was a bit further out to the others and didn't have time. We are staying in Cheras however so might be able to popover and see! Thanks 😊
We have been to sunway pyramid before, but not during Christmas, it's such a cool mall even when it's not decorated! Does it have some great Christmas decorations too? ☺️
@@DisappearforDays if you were to visit during any festive season...sunway is also one of the best malls to go during those season...especially during Chinese New Year

We were thinking of heading to Mid Valley Megamall, but it was. Abit too far out of the way compared to the ones we visited! We've never heard of Gardens mall though, so will have to see if we can check them out before we go home! Thanks for the recommendation ☺️

Not in Southern Hemisphere though eg, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa where Christmas fall during hot summer. If you have time to travel down under, people celebrating Christmas day at the beach wearing bikini and Santa Claus with brief! Hence some of them celebrate earlier in July! And the largest Christian community country in South East Asia, the Philippines, which is the same weather as Malaysia, Christmas is a big thing and they start celebrating it as early as in September!
Celebrating Christmas at the beach in a bikini sounds just wrong! It should be celebrated in your thickest Christmas jumper with the heating on full blast at home 😂 it sounds like the Philippines love their Christmas, we may have to try and visit during that time next year! 😊
And yet here in Australia some of our stupid councils and mall operators won't allow Christmas decorations because it might offend someone. Love going to KL, stayed many times now.
