I liked this video much better than the other one on this topic. At least you figured in production costs in this one. You still left out food/maintenance costs and research costs, but this is much more helpful than just comparing their power and nothing more. It seems like tier 1's are much more cost-effective for defending your town (since you have unlimited space in town), but tier 5's are better for PVP'ers who are constantly attacking (due to the limited troop capacity of each attack march). Since I'm not a PvP'er, I'll stick with my tier 1's.
Approximative formula of a unit power : SQRT(Attack*Defense*Health) With this formula, it matches the ratio you got by your experiment. It gives : T1 : 1000 T2 : 2197 (it matches the ratio of 2.19 T1 = 1 T2) T3 : 3602 (you got ratio 3.59, quite close) T4 : 5196 (you got 5.263) T5 : 7001 (you got 7.01)
thx for your videos WWM, I have a question about hero's energy regeneration.. it's that I feel upgrading it through knowledge or skill points actually makes no difference at all.. when I tried to calculate it I found it takes 13s per 1 NRG pt. regenerated then I made 3 medium lvl. knowledge upgrades to NRG regeneration but nothing changed regarding the 13s per 1pt speed!! any ideas WWM?
Yeah they purposely made it to a one-sided system so people have to use Energy packs... I have not tried I'm maxed out percent to see if you could reach the threshold of getting into be there every hour without using any Energy packs but that would be the most cost-effective thing you could do. But even that is skewed because one level VI invader took me 29 hits on average to kill... So even then at the end of the day you're going to have to use energy packs to finish him on off or stay up for 29 hours.. :)
great video and results....very intresting would you be able to test how the time of troops compair when to equal army's ( in time ) fight for example...if you built 50 hours worth of t5 and went to fight someone who had 10 hours worth of each troop type t1.t2..t3..t4 t5.......so both army's have 50 hours worth of troops if the 50 hours worth of t5 attacked 10 hours worth of each t1..t2 ..t3..t4..t5 who would win I ask this becasue want to see the effect of stacking troops and tiers for meatsheilds
I just checked my troops times for t1 and t2 and t3.....if I had a 30 hour army of t3 it would equal 3600 t3...if I had 10 hours of each t1..t2..t3 it would be 5382 t1...2159 t2..1200 t3 if them both army's where to attack or defend againest each other which one would win since both are only worth 30 hours each please can you test this WWM but use all 5 troop types
great I really look forward to that video I have tested such things in a diffrent game called hobbit. similar to vikings. when all troops are tested based on time you can't get a fixed result. if the army is based of time. say 100 hours worth of troop. one army is 100 hours of t1 and t5 and the other army is 100 hours devided equal other all troop types. from that 100 hour army you will get a result. bit then if this result is upscale to say 1000 hour army it would be a very diffrent result and the maths don't follow suit as you add more troops behind a t1 troop it increases it strengh t1 with the right amounts and right troops behind them can act as stong as t5
it's all weather attacking or defending as to what you build t1 and t5 army will make you a killer for first year or so of game. lots do that when you go big scale like you WWM and you have 50000 hours say of troops then your army must contain all troops in correct ratios so you can fight these powerful players with all t1 and t5 it's stale mate really...if to players both equal to your stats met and one was all t1 and t5 and other all troops to a fixed ratio.....the player with all troops can't really risk attacking....he has the power but losses will weaken his defence greatly as he will have to attack with pure t5 to break the other players mass t1s....this player with mixed troops will easy break all t1s if goes all out but will probably lose the overall fight in the end...just coming up short on the other hand if the t1 and t5 player attack the mixed troops players then he can't win...it's impossible...he will have to send pure t5 and will lose them all leaving only t1 and open to attack
after each player reaches the same ponit mind the player that made all troops types wins...they can welcome a defence and attack as needed...after they reach the ponit needed to defend they can simple keep increasing t5 for going attacking sake it's impossible for us to find the correct working of thr game man but your doing a great job....in the end there a maxium and minium...a level 1 player with weakest everything can build enough t1 to beat a maxed out player in everything attacking with t5 and games maxium March size...there is a number that defines this what your doing WWM I think is brilliant man and I know how much effort it takes so thanks a lot man really hoping me that we get a update soon with level 60 gear to open up a whole new lot of tactics :) looking forward to next video and sorry about spamming chat :)
I disagree with this video in the terms of the double barracks. Please correct me if i'm wrong but you actually lose more gold by having any more than one barracks don't you? My method is to have One Barracks and the rest manors (& one infirmary because we have to). But with One barracks maxed, and the rest Manors, you give yourself training speed. With more training speed you can train more troops with less time. The less time you need, the less boosts you use, and therefore the more gold you save. During a Double Boost events (10% troop training from the daily event and KVK 5-day event) and with my own 20% booster active, legendary training speed gear (and hero skills) plus ALL manors at level 21 or 22, I'm currently 3473 T4 troops with a 15hr boost. If I added a second barracks, I would have to delete a manor sacrificing 25% or more training speed, meaning I train LESS troops with the same amount of time (or the same 15hr boost). I understand using 24hr is more efficient than 15hr, and using 3day boosts is more efficient than 24hr when you're buying them with gold, but the margin is very small, and the amount of time you save by adding more troops for free (in terms of time) to your mix was far more effective by my math. I think troop training speed is the most underrated stat in the game and I sacrificed everything to focus on getting all the legendary troop training gear as fast as I could to make those boosts give me much more troops for my gold.
To add to this, the more you eliminate time from the equation, the more it becomes about only resources to train troops and grind up influence. Resources are not difficult for me with hyperfarming, so it's just about gold and boosts that limit me. My goal is to use the fewest amount of gold on boosts as possible, and using a 15hr instead of a 24hr for the same amount of troops saves me a lot more gold than trying to reach 3-day or 7-day boosts
We debunked that theory too but didn't know how to work out the actual power ratio you worked out.. Very informative. I little hard to grasp what you mean though. Did your 1000 troops beat the T5s and you were just trying to match troop loss?
Yeah I didn't clarify that very well in the video.... The numbers i was shooting for, were my opponents dead... So it was 800 lost for me and 743 lost for my opponent out of 1000. My goal was to get as close to a 800/800 loss as possible. So what I tested was killing the exact number of your opponents enemy when you lose. Assuming that if I kill that many with 1000 T1 how many would it take to kill the same with T5. Because that's the true measure of power how many opponent troop can you kill....

We knew she had 165k T4 Pedatress, so two of our stronger members reinforced me 500,000 T4 Cavalry and Archers. I then dropped my shield and started laying waste to a few small members of her clan. (Bagging out in public chat) didn't take long for her to hit me. We obviously won and she lost majority 80% of that March. Would like to know definitively how onslaught protects your troops if it's the same as reinforcing.

I started a new account, bought 3 pack for 4.99 each and got about 1.2M golds from those. leveled up my account to 19, took me a lot of gold for knowledge upgrades. Now I can't move forward,everything is too expensive and too long to level up, what do you recommend?
I understand this game is very money intensive..... One thing I suggest is trying to please daily events.... They really changed the competition so you're just competing against a few people versus before when you competed against everybody. You can consistently make 1k to 3k a day with minimal effort... The other thing even if you are not the biggest guy but you can at least hold your own by playing smart
Thanks, to be honest i am doing that and use all the boosts that I can get but jit would easily costs me another 2-3M to get to lvl 22. it's crazy how much money this game costs.even if I win every single one of those competitions, it would take me 3 years to get that kind of money.

+lostoroton I lost a 3m influence using T3s as a meatshield so no T4s were lost. I lost 90k of 200,000. She lost almost 8m influence
