Thanks . The game dealers prefer a clean carcass so head shot is what they like . I suppose I have been lucky with all the headshots I have done (touch wood) and have been very fortunate that none have ended badly. I do however limit my ranges and due to that i am 110% confident in making the shot .

That last shot was friggin dodgy.
What rifle scope are you using?
I am using a march 5-50x56 scope with mtr-2 reticle .

I wouldn’t risk taking headshots also doesn’t it destroy the trophy if you boil it
I don't really bother keeping the heads as trophy's, they usually get taken off and thrown away .
