I think the biggest problem with g5 merch was how badly they advertised all the toys and stuff :( all the super interesting toys were exclusive to online !!! I miss walking into irl stores and finding my little pony toys. I think g5 itself (and the toys in this case) had sooo much potential, but hasbro really fumbled with the way they handled this generation; from the marketing perspective to the way they released the show and treated the artists/animators, and that makes me sad. It was never really given a proper chance to grow. I still love g5 but i wish more could have been done with it.

g5 had soooo much potential and I had so many theories cooking up but at the end it got so confusing we only saw Twilight a couple of times I'm bringing Spike back was so sad cuz Twilight didn't come back she became a princess does that mean she's a immoral 😢😢😢😢

I just came back to check if yall r still posting after years, I used to be so obsessed with yall for Years. I remember coming home from school and turning the TV on just for u guys, I can't wait for my kids to do the same. Love yall so much

REAL, but I love MLP G5 but some of the episodes are so bad, and sometimes it's low quality and good quality.

I'm so happy they won't drag this flop generation for another couple years. Let's just hope the next projects will be more tought through and toy production won't be as insanely lazy and repetitive as this gen was. Million almost identical versions of sunny and rarely any other character, that was just sad to see from collectors perspective..

I saw the g5 toys being on sale at a recent mall i went to last week and I remember my mom was debating if she should get one of the toys for my sister and i since she literally sensed that g5 is gonna be discontinued

You know what would have been perfect for those wannabe polly pocket sets? When I was little (I was born 1999), Playmobil had these little square/rectangular plastic boxes mini playsets you could take with you. The cool thing was that the bottom part was magnetic, and had a background kind of thing on top of it (and obviously on the inside of the box), and all the little figures and objects had tiny magnets on the bottom so they weren’t falling around all the time. I have/had (probably still got it somewhere) Noah’s Arch, that came with the ship and tiny animals, and like a medieval one with a castle and a dragon and a horse. That’s as much as I can still remember 😅 the little figures were a rubbery material so it was easy to pick them up, I don’t know what hasbro used for the mini mlp ones.
I really wish some factory/brand would do these magnetic mini playsets again, I loved them so much

Well, g5 wasn’t too bad at first. Then it just went down from there. But not all of it was terrible. I wonder how they’ll handle the ending…🤔
