The speed runners put it at the top of the fountain but that requires a lot of timing so they probably shouldn’t have done that anyway
@jakemichal1220 honestly, the ones I've watched made a different perching place for the ender dragon which makes her stuck there. If they've learned it, it could probably make their ender dragon fight way more easy.
@sixjhontongalamar979 If you are referring to a zero cycle then that is way harder than a normal one cycle.
@jakemichal1220 I also hear that its harder to do on servers because of latency. Haven't tried it myself to see though

@herbietheferb1eif you look at the top right of the video you can see a discolored dot. Its maybe a single pixel in size, and its a lot easier to see in some shot than others but it is there.
@JayTheTacoKat-DustyTowers on my monitor it seems like either a 2x2 or 3x3 square of pixels, still incredibly tiny and i've honestly never noticed it
What I gathered is Mumbo misremembered everything from those speedrun videos he watched.
Well speed runners don't use redstone, so its basically a new language.
That's due to him now being ancient at age 30.
I love that he decided to do a speedrun again while still not remembering the bed trick even with how many comments there were about that on his first video lol

He has, as the kids say, that dog in him.
No Ren just had a very good idea, he used f5, see using f5 gave him a whole new perspective and he was able to see structures he couldn’t have seen before.
Now heres the problem with this speedrun
You used the suboptimal strategy of „having fun with friends“

Most speedrunners also don't currently budget in time for bathroom breaks, achievement hunting and delivering mail to one's IRL neighbor, but I think the meta is eventually going to catch up.

I think this team of Ren, Skizz, and Mumbo is the current highlight collaboration of the season so far. They play off so well with each other. I watched this video not realizing it was nearly an hour long and wanted to rewatch it all over again. Props guys!

Seeing Mumbo do progress from a gameplay perspective (like improving movement and such) actually makes me kind of proud! We'll see, what kind of new strats he's going to discover by accident to revolutionize speedrunning without even noticing.

This is the best trio. They are equally spaced on the chaos-calm scale. Ren is very calm, Skizz is very chaotic and Mumbo is perfectly in the middle. Never knew this was the trio we needed. ❤
minecraft is such an amazing game cause you can seriously dedicate decades of your life to it, making unbelievable structures, creating months of continous content and millions of dollars and yet still be THIS incompentent at playing the actual game
