Complete oversight I discovered re watching this video - RESHADE - Edit: update: as of March 17th, I would disregard the reshade from this video, instead download reshade 4.9.1 and use the vibrance preset from Nexus. It’s a lot prettier. New Vegas Reloaded also greatly improves the look of the game. You can download it from their discord server (one google search and you’ll find it) it’s still WIP, so not perfect. Recent videos on the channel showcase both

@@Glen67z Just a quick question for ETJ's mods and WAP with Hit's anims, do I need to delete the AnimGroupOverride files for every weapon in Hit's anims that's covered by ETJ's Anims I have installed? For example, I'm using ETJ's Varmint Rifle, so I should delete the Varmint rifle files in AnimGroupOverride? Also correct in that WAP should be above all of ETJs and Hits mods? Again, as the guy above said thanks for helping morons like us mod FNV.

Etj’s animations are excellent, but I do prefer Hitman’s for some of these, mainly because some of them are very exaggerated and obviously pulled from recent Call of Duty games whereas the Hitman ones looks little more simple and vanilla while still stylish. Still, I hope he makes more. Anirvana also makes great animations.

Everything is working good, I just don't know how to add FO3 mods: Do I install them in a separate FO3 instance on mod organizer? Or do I just dump them in TTW aswell? I would say it's even harder to understand for a new person to modding. I'm not that great at it, but MO2 is actually functional and able to be understood, as well as having a very simple user interface
Hello, i know this is a little old, but im at 7:13 - 9:12 and whenever i launch the game, not only does smooth true ironsights not pop up, but im getting 10 fps, idk what i did wrong
making a new vid atm, I'm doing most of the heavy lifting and you can just install a few files on your end. save yourself the headache and just come back in a few days
They won't because then they will admit that another game outside of theirs is better. The majority of the fans admit that fnv is the best fallout overall, an obsidian game, not a Bethesda game.
I'm currently using this tutorial for just a regular Fallout: New Vegas playthrough and needless to say I'm extremely impressed with the results of this so far.
@@Guy25096 It worked wonderfully, however I didn't spend too much time with the graphics mods because they are rather intense for my current setup (PC's being built currently) and I cannot recommend this enough.
I've been playing TTW on and off for a few years, between different installs, and let me tell you, this is by far the best install guide that there is.
A save file will not configure anything. If anything, it will mess up your game. Unless your setup, load order, mod list etc. are the same as the pc the save file came from.

I got to the point 5:50 where you decided to launch the game into the new vegas start. After the cutscenes play I get the error, "Tales of Two wastlands detected Falloutcustomini is misconfigured. Please read ToTW install guide for ini changes." Then the game automatically starts new game in new vegas, no option to choose. This is not addressed in the video. Could you please tell me how you got past this issue?
@Glen67z Thank you! Through mod manager I opened the profile ini folder and the falloutcustomini file was empty. On the ToTW installation QA page they have a question that lists everything that's supposed be in that file, so I copy and pasted that to mine. That fixed it.

Did you make extra changes to your reshade? My game colors don't look quite like yours at 15:49. I still have a bit of those retro desert like greenish textures, but better. It just seems like your colors pop more and has less greenish color. Almost like there's an enb on, but I know you didn't use one.
I'm literally stuck at the beginning. The JIP LN NVSE file doesn't show up anywhere. Not to mention that at 2:29 mark it says to open Fallout New Vegas to generate INI file yet I cannot go that far as the game doesn't load up, it just instantly crashes.
Ignorant question from someone who only dabbles in modding. This seems to involve getting multiple packs of animations, many of which cover the same weapons.... why?
Just to be clear, you're spawning the weapons in just to test, and it has nothing to do with the installation process right? I could just delete the weapons from the hits anim seasons without doing that right?

mcm generally wont show up unless you have a mod that requires its use. So to test it i'd install a mod that requires MCM to use and if it still isnt showing up, i'd just uninstall MCM and re install

I wish the modders would make one download for all these animation mods allowing you the choice of either picking the animations you want or just getting all of them.
So I spawned the weapons to remove some of the file from the hit animation to use the wap ar series but don't know which specific file, which file do I need to delete? Also love the video
Sorry that question was quite hard to follow, the path is in the video you just need to delete the meshes in hitmans animations of the same guns you spawned so the ETJ animations can work instead. The WAP series are textures. Just pause the video when you need to and copy everything word for word and it’ll all work out
I love that people can run their game so smoothly even with all these mods but mine gets inconsistent memory crash when going through doors despite having 4gb patcher
You need to follow a stability guide on youtube, after you installed all the performance stability mods required, then you can slap 1000 mods on fnv without it even crashing

There is a mod that let's you play after the main campaign. I can't remember what it's called though.

Vortex is missing a lot of functionality, and due to its aim at people new to modding, it restricts the capabilities of those with more experience
