I absolutely love the look of Westclox dials. Especially the full numeral black dials. There's just is something about them. I'd like to get a 17 jewel black dial Westclox wristwatch. I know they're not the most prestigious time pieces, I don't care. Its all about the dial. When I was a kid my aunt gave her 1940's Westclox electric alarm clock. I loved it. Brown dial full numeral, aged white plastic case, that look like yellow bakelite. they have this charm to them.

Wow! Really great little documentary there, very well written and informative. Was there no risk of the Auto watch's hairspring getting magnetised with that giant magnet on the back? SNO-TIME for joking around now

Very good history lesson on this obscure topic! I have my own Westclox watch that I believe to be some variant of an auto watch also, I need to find an old pocket been to part out to repair mine!

Please put on another one ☝️ of those rock and roll 🎸 songs. Your RUclips videos are more than just vintage with them. Magnetic 🧲 watch? I’m a fan of magnets 🧲. It’s a good 😌 thing that they left the pendants on these watches. They’d be greatly 😊 devalued without them. Merry belated Christmas 🎄 🎁, and a very safe and Happy 😊 New Year. Your friend, Jeff.

You gotta watch the whole video through to hear the full soundtrack! Here's the soundtrack list for this video

GENE PITNEY - THE LAST CHANCE TO TURN AROUND (1965)
      U.S BONDS - QUARTER TO THREE (1961)
THE BELMONTS - DIDDLE-DEE-DUM (What Happens When Your Love Has Gone) (1962)
JOEY DEE AND THE STARLITERS - WHAT KIND OF LOVE IS THIS (1962)
DEL SHANNON - SO LONG BABY (1961)
If you like the records that get played on these videos so much, why not check out my record channel? It's called "The Gregola Records Club". I upload 78 RPM and 45 RPM records there.

Interesting seeing this new series come up, hopefully it'll grow into another series that will be at the forefront of this channel by the end of the year. I imagine the reason why the volume on the music is so low being because you're worried about the vocals overpowering your voice? Looks like you got the concept of what to you want down.
Also I can tell that the thumbnail was one of those 3 automatic slides things, wasn't it?

The Auto-Watch at 11:58 has the correct magnet and hands. I have a chrome version of it, but it's otherwise identical
No idea what it's worth though
My dad bought it for the dash of his bare bones 66 Mustang he bought used in 67
The magnets are akin to what you'll find in an automatic transmission pan

When you mention “pendants” missing, don’t you mean “bows”….as that is where the chain would be attached!
