Thanks for this. As cool as the Ioniq 5 N is, its range would a seriously limiting in Australia. The same powertrain and suspension in the Ioniq 6 bodyshell would be far more practical for us.
I think that works out at about 2.7mi/kWh. Truly terrible for what was a constant, fairly slow, warm weather, motorway drive. I know they have put in a much bigger battery to compensate so you still get decent range, but still terrible. Any European road jaunt will need very regular stops if doing fast autobahn cruising, which makes the trip less relaxing overall and not as much fun.
A proper wind can really ruin the aerodynamics of a car, a side wind can be just as bad as a headwind. And going by the flags at the 7:18 it was proper WINDY. To me, this is a bad data point, it's not the most efficient car but it's not that bad....
It’s off seeing people complain about range. That’s like complaining about any high performance ICE vehicle having low MPG. This is not a range performer.
Maybe you couldn’t afford to 😂 plz buy any Chinese brand car mate. It seems like you feel compelled to applaud your home country brand. Touché. How about xiaomi? Haha it’s absurd that Ioniq 5 got the car of the year, in it?
I'll watch anything you make on this car
Have you driven one!?!
@@WickedIonic5N nope
@@jondigene2233 if you ever have the chance to it’s a must, especially if you enjoy performance cars.
Can’t wait to get mine and test it for a longer run! Maybe already this week a German trip 😁
Congrats! Great choice.
Did you get it!?!
I would love to see you take this on a europe roadtrip! Awesome video
Has anyone attempted to change the torque distribution to the rear wheels only and compared the difference in range?
Thank you for leaving us good information.😊
04:50 Woah what kinda building was that? 😮
Thanks for this.

Is the difference between the 2 range tests just attributable to speed? ~23 @ 110 kph vs ~26 @ 120 kph? Big delta?
👍 Hyundai Ioniq 5N
What speed was he travelling at on motorway please?
7:20
Not too windy... see flags in the background😂
But still nice kWh compare to amazing supercar performance
Are you Sami?

For me, if an EV car can reach 400-500 km, it is enough.

Keep your hands on the wheel please I found it distracting
I believe they have semi-autonomous driving. I’m in the US and we only have smart cruise control.
Sorry, the car is too expensive.
I could not have an EV with such a awful eficiency. Very bad Hyundai :(
It's simple. Don't buy the least fuel-efficient version of this car. Pick a RWD one with 19" wheels that has the same charging curve.

@@junghoonkim9316This IONIQ 5 N will not sale well. Thirsty and expensive. As simple as that
It's a waste of money.
@@junghoonkim9316You know Chinese are far ahead of your Korean EV. Expensive and inefficient
@gerard8931 Good luck with the Chinese car that its battery degraded after a couple of fast charge and sometimes catches fire😂
China's electric vehicles have the world's best technology. Hyundai is a shell.
