I spent 6 days there last week for a traffic citation. That sheriff is all talk. The inmates run that place, and the living condition is damn near inhumane.
Seriously??? This is NOT…I repeat IS NOT how it looks in the real areas they house inmates. The area being showed is where inmates dress out to leave and go home. ( they made sure to clean that up b4 filming) They’re so full of it.
They need to change keepin u in there for months about traffic tickets.. I missed court for a seatbelt ticket by mistake my bond was 10,000 to get out. I ended up pleading just to leave they crooked
They dont answers the phones. While commissary, sending messages to inmates. And scheduling required video visits have been down since November 2023. Only to find out your family member is fighting for their life.
To start, it Sounds like they need a better maintenance department. Secondly, these GA counties would have a lot less inmates in their jail if they didn’t lock people up for minor crimes, traffic violations and misdemeanors. Lastly, lying and saying people are “breaking into jails” to deliver contraband is the biggest lie I’ve ever heard😂😂. No sir, your deputies are responsible for the contraband coming thru. Whether by turning the other way or bringing it in themselves.
To reduce overcrowding by releasing these animals back into society. Maybe they could improve current conditions by having the people to work, so they help generate funds needed to pay for their accommodations.
Don’t call people Animals. Ever again. You have no idea what they’ve been through or even charged with. Or innocent or guilty. It reflects on you, more than them man.
We need to partner with Central and South American countries to house repeat offenders off-shore. As bad as these Atlanta jails are - and they are medieval horrific - some folks get comfortable living there. Perhaps if we move repeat offenders to Brazil or Bolivia they'll understand how sick we are of them?
Just got out, it was terrible. No towels, no rags, no food until the 3rd day and it was slop, nothing to eat with, no water, no mat. No phone call. I slept on the cold floor with a single sheet. Toilet flooded all over me. So dirty and the officers ignore you when you need medical. They wouldn’t even give me a pad or tampon, I had to use tissue. Men can see women use the toilet in the holding cell. You can bail out same day and they won’t release you until 2/3 days later to make more money. Unsafe. Many people were getting stabbed/jumped, even a poor old lady. Smh I see why they declined 60days in. This jail needs to be shut down.
Hello I really need help I have to turn myself in for child intereference and taking my son to a different state he was being abused by his dad cps gave me permission and now It’s a warrant for my arrest I wanted to know do u know realistic how long I will be in jail to get a bond like how many days will I have to serve to get a court date ?
@@jess8257 hey, it depends on all your charges. You could get a bond the same day, but if you are denied bond you have to sit 30 days and go in front of the judge. If CPS gave you permission, you’ll need proof. If there is ongoing abuse, you’ll need proof.
@@jess8257 honestly the sooner you go the better. I’ve seen people with way worse cases get a bond and be out in 2 days. Don’t turn yourself in on a Friday or the weekend though.
Trust me they had that place cleaned up before the crew came… why not let the peoples see it ran in its normal condition? Nasty as hell, piss all over the seats, black mold, bugs, rude ass staff etc! These some wicked ass people and that new sheriff ain’t any good!

I was there..We had 1 working toilet for 50 to 75 people.Wet mattresses with no blankets...no towels or soap.

Most jail inmates are pretrial inmates, which means they have yet to be convicted or acquitted of the crimes they were arrested for.
