- Filmed on 19/05/2022. Having been living at Scarborough for 8 years now, it has come to notice that haven't managed to film a morning rush hour trainspotting session at Scarborough, until now (Season 9 Episode 11)
As the May timetable changes has taken place, there has been a few changes made to services. Northern has introduced a new hourly services between Bridlington and York via Hull to serve all stations. The Scarborough to Sheffield services are now running fast via Worlds Coast/Yorkshire Coast line.
Transpennine Express on this day only had 2 Nova 3 sets available for service for the day as their class 185 replacements took over on some services. There is a brand new early morning service which now runs from Manchester Piccadilly through to Scarborough with a few daily services running to Manchester Victoria/Manchester Piccadilly. Their Scarborough to Liverpool Lime Street services are due to start by mid September.
The future of the Nova 3 sets: It is rumoured that apparently they will be working on:
Saltburn/Redcar Central to Manchester Airport
Scarborough to York/Manchester/Liverpool Lime Street
Cleethorpes to Liverpool Lime Street
With pairing of class 185's as well to provide the remaining services.

Very nostalgic as when living in London i spent all my six weeks summer hoilday trainspotting here every year, my uncle was signalman at Washbeck. Now living at Haxby I see what ends up with you so very interesting video, thanks.
Wow David, can imagine that travelling between London and Scarborough for a holiday must have been (still is) a dream?
Wow, what a dream job that must have been for your uncle seeing and giving clearance for the trains passing through.
Very nice area Haxby is. Especially, the plans are to rebuild and reopen Haxby railway station.
Cool
