@@Amazing_Anusha good that you’re preparing! math competitions are great for practicing and improving yourself in math, it’s all about the experience and the opportunity in my opinion
I'd recommend practicing the past AMC 8 tests from the artofproblemsolving.com. You should time them and treat them like real tests. Then you can also check out the solutions on the same site. Let me know if you want me to cover any specific problem and I will try my best!
! symbol is basically called factorial , which just means product of all the numbers from 1 to N. N!=1*2*3*...*N So when you expand 5!, 5!=5*4*3*2*1 , 5*2=10. So we have 9! multiplied to 10 , which is basically a product of numbers from 1 to 10. So 9!*10 can be written as 10!. And the remaining 12. So the answer to the problem is 10
There's a quicker way:
1. 5! = 120
2. 120(9!) = 12(N!) --> 10(9!) = N!
3. 10(9!) is basically 10!
I love your explanation too!
I like this way a lot better looking back. It is easy and quick to the point, thank you for sharing!
@@coldcrazylogic Welcome!!! I didnt think of urs either.
