I followed Chelsea from 74 till 84, the golden years. The only time I saw them come off worse was against West Ham. Didn't see them against Millwall but they got the better of Chelsea as well, from what I heard. Millwall didn't have the numbers but pound for pound they were / are the worst. Total nutters.

I went to the Den 76-77 with a tube load and went in the CBL at 1.00 to 1.15. After a fight, we had to leave via the pitch and went into the Ilderton road end but heavily outnumbered Millwall got the better there, too. Then the main Chelsea lot came in The CBL just above the players tunnel. Me and my few mates and we went back to the CBL via going behind the seats. Stayed there with all other Chelsea fans until 10 mins from the end, and we all left at 0-3 down.

Very honest video mate, yes man utd in late 60s early 70s were the ones that started all the end taking.
They took north and southbank at upton park in may 67 and won the league.
West hams mobs back then (bethnal green, canning town and mile end) were quite a bit older than average shed boys and believe me that mattered back then, also east end was still a very tough area.
I have an old 'hammer' programme which ŕeports on trouble at Upton park v Chelsea first game of the season 1966! (and first match since world cup final) i think Chelsea tried to take the northbank that day, and the away fixture at stamford bridge (the match result that day was 5-5) ....was the first recorded trouble between fans in the shed end, which continued up to late 70s/early 80s.
Arsenal ? Was that the yellow paint incident i thought that was earlier than 73?

And they all charged into the northbank windmilling and scattering everyone! .... we still shout that to each other to this day 😂, .....Celtic fans were still drinking around the pubs and in doorways days later apparently!

QPR won 4-0 and UTD got relegated that season but I stood on the bank as it was then with all the UTD fans. Loads were Londoners. UTD had a pretty tasty away crew in Thorne days. The following season Millwall played them home and away and got thrashed twice😂 they never took the CBL but made a lot of noise up the other end. Great times, a lot was just plain fun .

My brotherr was sat on my uncles shoulders in the bottom corner of Northbank and said a load of Celtic gathered, and were joined by more climbing in from the west stand terracing, he said this huge blonde geezer pulled on a crash helmet and screamed " where's ya fekkin boot boys?" And they charged into the northbank scattering everyone! .... we still shout that to each other to this day 😂, .....Celtic fans were still drinking around the pubs and in doorways days later apparently!

As a Chelsea Fan who was in the Shed when about 200 West Ham Fans started a fight about 5 mins before the end of the Match - the Police soon stopped the Fighting but didn't eject the West Ham Fans until after the Final Whistle. About 200 Bristol City fans ran at Chelsea 20 mins before kick off but we're soon ran off . Started going to the Bridge since 1972 and there was kick offs in all the stands over the years but Never saw any firm take the Shed.
