Reminds me of my first and last trip out as a novice kayaker, including being turned upside down on the beach! Only difference is it looks like you had better weather and slightly smaller waves!
No, but I've wanted to have a bash just need likeminded folk to do it with. I'm pretty scared of things going wrong especially rogue waves but would love to try.@@XennialTraveller
@@tingliasmr This was quite advanced conditions - so you definitely won't be starting anywhere near this ;) I made a couple of kayaking trip videos in Hong Kong which were much calmer. Best thing is to join a kayak/canoe club near you, have a go, and hopefully you'll enjoy it that you'll want to take some lessons. Let me know how it goes!
Hi. Mind the washout. Better try open water kayaks. With thi configuratio, at the roll out, it can finish very bad. My very best regards, thank you for the moovie!
Great video. Funny how you got all the way round in those conditions and then capsized in cwm yr Eglwys . When I look at conditions like that I tend to think to myself "well I'd probably survive it but I wouldn't chose to go out"
It was probably because I had an excellent, very qualified/experienced coach and paddling buddy that I was confident in those conditions. And yeah, surf right on the beach (used to) always trip me up!!! So immediately after than Ian coached me and I did some specific practice and I know can deal with it 😊 do you paddle around there much?
I am just the same. What little elegance I have goes out of the window when it comes to landing the boat and getting out of it. I also am very lucky to have experienced paddlers to go out with and I have learned so much from them@@XennialTraveller
멋진항해 !
A much darker, more strenuous vibe than the HK kayak film .
Great stuff, as always.
Glad you’re posting again
Welcome to British weather and seas 😉 And my kayaking skills have gotten a bit better too, so pushing it a bit more. Thanks for watching!
That’s what sea kayaking should be 50% of the time! Nice vid !
Totally! And thank you. Hoping to make more sea kayaking videos as it’s mostly WW stuff online

You had bigger waves as a novice kayaker?! Who brought you out into those waves?!
Looks killer, thanks for the share. peace out.
Crikey, that looks intense but amazing!
You summarised the feeling nicely!! One of those things you look back on and feel a great sense of accomplishment 😃 do you kayak?

Nice video in difficult conditions! Did you get the Sea Kayak Coastal Award?
I did indeed 😃 Have you paddled around Pembrokeshire ?
No, I have never paddled in the UK. I normally paddle around Barcelona, sometimes in France.@@XennialTraveller
@@ropits360 Nice! I’ve been to Barcelona a few times but never paddled there. Hopefully I will get to someday
