But long ago, Asura got bullied from being a half-breed, Asura's mother got fucked over (arrested) by some celestial people and Asura holds all the corrupt nobles in the celestial realm accountable for his misery and him accidentally killing his own mother, therefore he wanted the corrupt nobles killed. Tiasha very lowkey secretly agrees but at the same time disagrees cause killing nobles would mean celestial realm demise, so Taisha accepted the celestial king's offer for him to be the leader of the celestial army for the fight against demons. Asura didn't like that (he thought Taisha siding with the celestials was betrayal and accused him of not being the benevolent Taishakuten he once knew as a friend), so he fucked off and led a rebellion against the celestials. Taisha played dirty and disguised himself as Asura's mother and "killed" Asura. ..... And then Taisha turned around and tortured and killed the celestial king, mind fucked the celestial nobles into confessing their sins and forced them to kill themselves for world peace and divine justice (and also for Asura), and now he's waiting for Asura to come to him in his little celestial castle--possibly to kill him cause Taisha is also a noble and he holds himself to the same low standard as how Asura saw the other corrupt nobles. In current timeline with Seimei, I think Taishakuten is chilling in the abyss and Asura's soul is fragmented everywhere, one possible fragment being Onikiri. Onmyoji is actually fucking complicated lorewise I honestly don't even know how to pick this apart. I don't think anyone has put out a whole guide for all the celestial and demon races and which SSRs connect to which races.

He's getting released on the Chinese test server tomorrow so it'll take a while before we get him (most likely at the end of May). Ashura has been confirmed as a playable character in the upcoming event but there has been no confirmation of him being an upcoming SSR shikigami yet.

Hello and welcome to the game! Happy to have you ^^ To answer your question , it is possible to get him right now. The characters in Onmyoji are always added into the summoning pool as soon as they are released so you just have to be lucky to either summon him, or trade his shards (can be aquired from Demon Parade or traded from guildmates). Whenever a new character is released we have a boosted chance to get the said character but other than that, we have no limited banners to get the characters.

I’ve been rerolling my acc a few times to see if I could get him as my SSR but I haven’t gotten him yet so I just assumed he isn’t in the summoning pool
@@R0SARIART Yes you can but you have to be extremely lucky. So you might have to make several new accounts. Try to go for SSR TamamoNoMae as your starter SSR other then that you get a free SR Ubume and SR Kuro Mujou (chapter 8 reward) from the story and they are strong enough to carry you through the early game.
