- A female bus driver is something out of the ordinary in the Iranian capital Tehran. But people get used to it. Even if her son wants her to stay at home she is willing to do all sorts of jobs to let him fulfill his dream of becoming a judge.

Wow! that was absolutely fascinating! I cannot believe that the people do not rise up and just revolt against the government like so many other nations. It is so odd to an American to see this... at first. and yet after thinking about it we have worse problems here now and we aren't doing anything about it because I think we are all so afraid so it makes you understand why they don't do anything.

Good for her! They now have special taxis in Iran just for wmen, driven by women.
Its women like these that make the real change in Iran today and for the past 25 years or so.
I really do hope the women do something to keep asserting their rights there. at least have equal rights.
