I'm 85 years old and love BTS. I live in the US, and I've been an ARMY for a little over 3 years now. BTS is at the top of my huge list of all-time favorite entertainers, and that includes, the Beatles, Adele and everyone else you listed plus many more over the years. They share so much with us that you feel like you know them. I even worry about if they're doing okay or are they nervous before performing. I know that's silly, but that's how much I've grown to care about them. They're amazing. I'm so happy I found them. 💜💜💜
Suga was not talking about a label ripping him off. He was discussing being an underground rapper who made beats which he would sell to other underground rappers who will take them and never pay him. He actually joined Big Hit to gain stability where he could both be heard as an artist and have money to pay at least some of the bills. Further, management companies did provide certain necessities, though not always as adequately as one would hope. As Big Hit was not one of the large corporations, I am sure when Suga originally signed to be a hip hop producer elevating himself from subsistence level to a small more or less predictable income he was expecting some measure of crediting for his works. I believe Big Hit with its facilitating pre-debut online videos and company resources was helping Suga get away from the underground which did not compensate or recognize his creativity adequately. Korea which is a society with a respect your elders mentality was a place where hip hop elders (sunbae) could get away with a lot when dealing with youngers (hoobae). So I think Taylor is not trying to show how Suga's company exploited him but how the underground in an age structured social system felt the power to exploit the new kid without much repercussion..
Yeah, and those same underground rappers accused him and RM of being a "sellouts" for signing with Big Hit, even though BTS did not get any payout when they signed a contract and did not even start getting paid until years after their debut, when they finally started to get popular. They worked their asses off for years as trainees and then after debut and were still broke and being attacked and locked out by both the idol industry and by the underground Hip Hop scene. And some of those same underground rappers tried out for labels too! They just didn't get signed.
And this is only a small reason why they are loved. Wait until you get into interviews, run bts shows and behind the scenes stuff of theirs and their lives. They are just a bunch of cool dudes, and funny. Watching them in concert was a truly magical experience that I will never ever forget. People will fly clear across the ocean just to go to their concert
I'm 64, from Texas! I found kpop in 2010 when I was looking for some new music. When BTS debuted in 2013, they just had "something". I didn't know what that "something" was, but I became Army then. Still here 10 years later. My boys grew up and they achieved more that I had ever dreamed. 💜
I’m a 27 year old and it’s true when they say “BTS comes into your life when you most need it” I became an Army two years ago when I was hitting rock bottom. Like Suga said “ You don’t need to be with us from out debut, we debut every time you find us” and it’s true this is a beautiful journey that brings so much happiness and motivation. Each member has their own story to tell since being together for 10 years and going through so much together. The relationship with BTS and Army is not of just a group and it’s fandom no we are a family, partners and love 💜 (not said by Army but by bts)
I'm 27 today! I've been an ARMY for 7 years. I was there at Wembley that day! Every single Army (100k of us!) sang to BTS and every single one of us were also crying. It was a very emotional and magical moment I will never forget ♥
I am a 52 year old female and a professor in Oklahoma. I found them almost 2 years ago and they touched my life in a time when I needed their music. I love music and have a large eclectic collection but never followed a group. They are my favorite artists. I believe they are the best artists of my lifetime. They have touched me so much that I had my first tattoo inked on my left forearm at the age of 51. The tattoo covers my full forearm and depicts ten years of their discography. At least the songs that mean something special to me. Each BTS member is unique as an artist and incredible, but as a group, they are a force for good. My niece (24 yrs old) and I were lucky enough to attend Sugas concert. He was fantastic and I don’t like rap (except for BTS). These young men put singers in the western world to shame. I am excited to see what they do in the coming decades as BTS and as individual artists. XCeleste and the Rice Squad also have some additional videos that will further your knowledge if you are interested.
They say BTS comes into your life when you need them most. For me it was a few months before covid. They saved me high risk alone for 18 months they kept me going. I’m 74 live on the central coast of California. Rock and roll and country music then my daughter and granddaughter introduced me to ARMY AND BTS and everything has changed. My world has opened up love them love their music. Hope I live to see a concert up close in 2025. I’m part of the biggest Army in the world the BTS Army and I will defend and protect them til my end. 💜
THANK YOU Grammah🥺I, a 27yr old 🪖 of 2019+ has been happy and Most greatful that ive learned about them over the years, just before they Got Ultra popular🥺 Never have i ever thought orndreamed tonsee this; something that I love get so big and popular before🥹. They deserve Everything 💟😊. Continue to be great and Take care for your health, Mam, okay elder army. God bless you and purple 💜 your heart. Ashae Ase
I am 62 yr old women from the USA. These guys as a group or as individuals are my lifetime favorites. A fews ago I had a radical bladder surgery because of bladder cancer. I never thought I would smile or laugh again. They changed that. Their music is comforting to me always. All of variety shows, like RUN BTS brought back laughter/smiles. Getting to know each personality is amazing. They each have different and unique personalities. Love them all!
BANGTAN has technically become like the "Jesus" of Amrys that were going through a Tough time or Needed something New and Fulfilling to their lives to feel a little more complete. First it were the Beatles, MJ, and a bit of Prince (mostly for Jimin) but the more i keep hearing and seeing people's stories on how Bangtan changed their lives... I get Jesus vibes. So yeah I said that and not changing it.😌😌😎🤷🏾♀️
I’m a 23yo army and I’ve became an army since 2014 and if I have to say one thing to them it’s gonna be “Thank u for making my life better” cuz the darkest n loneliest days of my life faded when I knew em I will always be grateful and love them 💜💜
46 yr old Army here 💜💜💜Never in my life have I had such a huge amount of respect for an artist (I mean collectively AND individually 💜) They truly are wonderful💜💜
I’m 47 years old, and have been ARMY for four years. ARMYs are some of the most positive and welcoming group of people I’ve ever met. I’m just so thankful to live on the same timeline as BTS.
I am a proud 53 year old Army , I have never ever been in a fandom before but BTS is SPECIAL in all my years I’ve never been moved so much by a musicians music, performances and personalities… 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Thank you for learning about them .
I became Army after watching their performances on SNL, April 2019. I was so impressed, I wanted to know everything about them. Their music has helped me overcome some struggles in my life, and I'm forever grateful for their existence, their music, their talents, their vision, and their unwavering love and devotion to their fans. I'm 57 and from the US.
46yo single mom ARMY here 💜 I found BTS at the lowest and most difficult time of my life and together they and ARMY brought me back to life 💜💜 They are kind, talented, compassionate, amazing humans and artists who have nurtured ARMY into carrying their message of love and kindness too. Welcome to the rabbit hole 😊 it's going to be a long and very satisfying journey. I look forward to it for you 💜💜💜
I'm 15 years old and I've been an ARMY for 7 years. Ever since I've been an ARMY my whole life has changed and they helped me get through the toughest times through the past 7 years. I hope that one day they will do the same for you. BORAHAE 💜💜
Not a lot of people react to their old albums anymore and it'd be really great if you can check out their old songs as well! As a 17 year old, I have been a BTS ARMY for 9 years since 2014-2023. Listening to BTS previous albums really hits HOME! BTS is THE inspiration for the music industry. 💜💜💜 They taught me a lot & especially how to have self love & respect for myself. 💜💜💜
I’m 54, love BTS and ARMY! Incredibly talented, humble and funny group of young men. I have not in my life time seen a “boy group” as talented as them. They write songs, produce, compose, dance and are so respectful and grateful to their fans. Love their music, lyrics and message. Thank you for sharing.☺️😎💜
BTS is one and only. They are not blood brothers but they are brothers and they themselves have said it. They lived together for more than 10 years and it was not until 2020/2021 that they got their own place. They are super close and support each other especially in their solo projects. They are unique and no one can duplicate them. If you have not watched their In the Soop episodes and Bon Voyage, you should. It gives you more insight to them and how connected they are. Their RUN BTS and BTS Bomb videos are the best and we are so thankful for all the videos they have shared because right now we can go back and watch them as we wait for their solo projects and for them to finish their military service. BTS is not independent at the moment. They were with Big Hit which then became Hybe Corporation. Also Korea used a different age system than us. They added 2 years to their real age. So in JK's case, he was actually 13 years old when he joined. He was literally raised by BTS and that is why he said thank you for raising me. I personally think he is a manifestation of all his 6 brothers. V was not the last member to join but he was the last to be revealed. He was what they called a secret weapon so it was not until the day before their debut that his identity was revealed. V is the creator of "I purple you" and "Borahae" Excited to see more reactions from you on BTS. Their live videos are the best too. I wont say my age 🤣 But I do have a 19 year old daughter who is also a BTS fan and we both went to the concert in Las Vegas last year. Army will always have BTS back. Can't wait for 2025 when they are all back together. 💜Borahae💜
I'm 33 years old and proud to be Army! They have my unconditional support and love. They got me through the most horrible times and they give me hope every day to go on
I’m 39, and I became an ARMY last year. My 9 yr old son got me to listen to one of their songs “Butter,” and I loved it. When I looked up the lyrics to Jin’s solo “Epiphany,” (which you should react to, by the way), it made me cry and just like that I’ve loved them ever since. They’re so humble and goofy. All of their songs have deep meanings and people can easily relate to them. 😊💜
I love how RM categorized the percentage of their Success, instead of saying cliche things like "Oh I'll give 100% to our Fans" He mentioned Everyone who is behind their Success, n thts a Great Leader right there. BTS don't fake it, like many other Artists do. n Even tho BTS is the one who made Army and their small company This big by their Hardwork, Amazing Music n Lyricism, he still gave themselves a small portion of their Success when they r the one who deserves the most, thts why I love BTS 💜💜
I am 65 years old my granddaughters introduced me to BTS we have been to several concerts My granddaughters, daughter and myself 3 generations going to concerts enjoying your journey to BTS universe 💜
Thanks for listening to the suggestions...57 yr old Army here. Watched these guys grown from teenagers into some of the most humble talented gifted artist and young men the world has to offer💜 The vlives are so much fun.. RM just comes and hangs out with us Yoongi comes and usually gives us such uplifting words J-Hope usually dances for us Jin cooks and eats with us JK takes song requests and gives us a mini show V does so many different things Jimin builds arts n crafts with us RM is a lyrical genius, especially the way he uses wordplay even between languages, composers using different beats flows rhythms.. He's also the only one who does not have a driver's license Yoongi is my bias and I love how he's so savage.. He seems like a very cold and distant person but he's very caring and loving J-Hope is a phenomenal dancer and just recently headlined at Lollapalooza.. Hobi is the sunshine of the group Jin was cast on the street getting off the bus that's true, it has happened twice to him... He did not sing or dance at all before he became a trainee.. Jungkook was only 13/14 when he joined as a trainee, he loves his brothers and Army so very much, loves to take risks, he's pitch perfect and talented in so many things. He's called the "golden maknae"because he's just good at everything he does🤷 V was hidden because the company feared he would be approached by other companies because of his striking good looks.V's voice is like a river of melted chocolate and his vocal range is amazing. He loves jazz and he feels like an old soul to me. He's very funny and spontaneous. Jimin is pure perfection when he dances, the feelings and emotions he's able to protray is amazing. He also had the shortest time as a trainee, around 7 months only.
I am a college student, 19 yrs old, but i been fan of BTS since i was 11. I remember i became a fan because i heard of their song spring day. It really resonated with me, I was new in USA, and didnt know any English, so i was a loner and i missed home. I remember crying because it felt like the song was meant for me. And obviously i did a deep dive on BTS, loved them, they became something that i could rely on for life advice, entertainment, comfort, motivation or just to feel like i was part of something, armys. I didnt really feel alone anymore. Eventually, I also wanted to have group of friends like them, so i started making friends. Idk them irl, but I'll always be thankful to BTS and just them being such great influence on young me, becoming my life long inspiration and role models.
I’m 60. Words are not sufficient to express what BTS means to me. I have been a fan of other artists during my life but never have I wanted or felt the need to put them on my body. My friends and family think I’m going through some sort of crisis when they see my Army/BTS tattoo. No crisis, just a deep, abiding love and admiration for artists that have forever changed my life for the better.
I am a german ARMY and turn 56 tomorrow. I know about BTS since August 2018 through my daughter and became ARMY in January 2019 and attended their concert at Wembley Stadium on the 1st June. ARMY sang Young Forever on the 2nd. There`s the saying in the fandom "BTS finds you when you need them the most". The BTS members are close close and consider each other as family. BTS went through hell and back and deserves everything they achieved and will achieve in the future. I will stay by their side for the rest of my life and defend them no matter what. Despite everything they went through they stay humble, kind and true to themselves. Since you love rap I would recommend you OUTRO: TEAR. But I think you should react to it when you a little bit more into BTS. Its a song by the rap line RM, SUGA, JHope. Just know that SUGA wrote the song for the members at a time when they thought about disbandment i early 2018. They were constantly bullied, overworked and so exhausted. When SUGA played it the first time they all cried together. ruclips.net/video/UDuaJGYe8EQ/видео.html
I'm 28 and I always thought BTS weren't going to be for me until I decided to give them a chance 4 months ago and now I'm obsessed! These guys are incredible in every way they're so diverse they literally do it all and they do all genres they're not like any group you've ever seen before. They're also genuinely good people who love their fans and always spread positive messages through their lyrics and lives. Not to mention that they're hilarious they're like full-time comedians you should check out their funny moments and their show Run BTS. They honestly keep surprising me every day you're in for a treat 👌🏻💜
I'm 72 and ARMY since 2017. There is so much more to learn about the boys & so much to love. They bring me a lot of joy & encourage me to be aa better person. Borahae
I am 64 yo Army. I found them while dealing with long Covid. They made me laugh, cry with their poignant lyrics and their sincere caring for Army. They do a lot of charity, but individually they try to keep it ad anonymous as they can. They have become family to each other and always wish the best for each other. Each member is individually talented and it is so great to see them work at continually developing their craft. Their parents have raised such wonderful children - not just those in the group, but their siblings. What wonderful families! Shout out to ALL the Armies - 2025 can’t come soon enough! Great reaction and thank you! Borahae 💜😊👍🏽👏🏽
If you want to know what they've gone through - and I mean truly *gone through!* - you need to watch XCeleste's video *BTS Hardships 2013-2021* (linked below). It's definitely not a fun video but it'll give you a great insight into both the closeness within BTS and their unique relationship with ARMY. Let's just say that there's a reason ARMY is protective... 😤 BTS Hardships 2013-2021: ruclips.net/video/EdY6wnLsetQ/видео.html
Hello, I am Hunter Jenkins, and I am 20 years old. I have been a member of the BTS ARMY for about two years now, and I love to help newer ARMYs on their journey with BTS. Hopefully, through the Guide to the BTS Members, you were able to learn more about the members and gain a new respect for them. As a BTS ARMY that is all that we ask for. And if you decide to continue your BTS journey along with us, I would highly recommend watching an Introduction to the BTS ARMY as well as starting to continue listening to more of BTS's earlier albums. The more that you learn about their music and the stories that the members are telling through them, the more that you are going to like them. 💜
I’m 20yrs old and I’ve been an army since 2019 and I got the privilege to see BTS live the same year at Wembley stadium💜 honestly I’m really happy that they got into my life because, they have inspired me to follow my dreams and work hard in achieving them. They have healed hearts they didn’t break and I always remember them in my prayers cause all I wish for them is happiness!
41 years old, ARMY since 2014 from Romania 🇷🇴, trully enjoyed your reaction😢 My love and support for BTS can't be expressed in words. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our 7 precious/most loved boys/Men in the whole Universe.
I'm a 37 year old Australian ARMY. My daughter introduced me to them in 2016 and I liked them, but it wasn't until 2017 that I believe I truly became an ARMY. I casually listened to them all the time, but it wasn't until I came home from one of my book signings, completely burned out, that she showed me the song Serendipity by Jimin, and I immediately burst into tears. That was the day I considered myself ARMY.
The Wembley concert was even more impressive and heartfelt to the group because Army sang the song in Korean.... It was a beautiful representation for all Army of how we feel about BTS... they give to us constantly... we attempt to give back in whichever way we can. We will forever be grateful to those Armys who started their BTS journey at the very beginning.. a lot were pre-debut.... they were instrumental in how the group got to debut in the first place... 💜
I'm 71 and found them during the pandemic. They are truly admirable and don't even really know it. Such wonderful people! If you like ON, you probably will like NOT TODAY,, Fire, and RUN BTS. Also, if you love rap, try Born Singer live, a remake of J Cole's Born Sinner, and Hip Hop Lover.
I am a proud 59 year old ARMY. BTS is an amazing group of men. Yes, they can sing and dance better than anyone but they are genuinely great human beings. It's awesome how much they support each others solo projects and are genuinely happy when anyone in the group has success. They may not be blood but they are brothers.💜
Just FYI - until this year, S Koreans counted age differently. In S Korea, you were considered 1 year at birth and then 2 years at the new year, even if you were born at the end of December, like V. So Jungkook was actually 13 when he signed with Big Hit and moved into the dorm with the guys. He was still in middle school. That's why the video said they attended both his middle school graduation and his high school entrance ceremony (the yellow uniform ceremony in the video) and his high school graduation. Now they have started using global age counting.
60 year old Army. Their music got me trough an emergency neck surgery at the height of Covid, the high risk pregnancy of my daughter and early birth of my grandson in June, 2020 and his helicopter ride three hours away after his birth when he was struggling to breath. I am so grateful that they came into my life when I needed their positive energy. They truly kept me going and I have nothing but crazy mad respect for them and feel the need to shout out their parents as well.
I’m 53 and discovered them in 2015 and officially became ARMY in 2016. They are the only kpop I listen to everyday. I love them and their music so much. I grew up in the 70’s 80’s and 90’s music but never pay attention to boy bands until BTS came. I love them, will support them and will protect them like my own. Thank you for your reaction. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🫰🏻
I'm 41 and have been an army since about 2018. The music is what pulled me in but I stayed because of the members as humans and what they stand for is the reason I love them. We honestly need more artists like them.
57 year old Mom to a graduate student here! I've been ARMY since 2020 - BTS and ARMY really got me through a lonely pandemic. I was impressed by the "Dynamite" 100M views in 24 hours record and so went to watch the video, and the RUclips algorithm went to work, throwing me down the rabbit hole head first.
45 year old ARMY, here! So thankful my daughter introduced me to them during the pandemic; they have changed my life. I'm glad you enjoyed this! (Don't worry, we don't expect you to know their names yet!! It takes a while!) They are truly amazing.
68 yr old Baby Silver Army here. Enjoyed your reaction. You mentioned how close the boys seem. Suga interviewed JungKook on his show, Suchwita, that was released this week, and he said the members feel more like family than his own family. JK agreed. The show was hilarious, heartwarming and we were treated to an impromptu mini concert from JK. You might enjoy getting to know the guys better through that show. Suga (aka Agust D, Yoongi) has now interviewed everyone except V. My guess is he has already interviewed V, but it won’t be released until V’a solo work is released. That seems to be the pattern. So you could go watch him interview Jin, J-Hope, RM, Jimin and JK at this point.
I'm a 62 year old proud ARMY grandma. APOPANGPO ~which means ARMY forever, Bangtan forever. We're not just fans. We're in this Bangtan shit for life. Welcome! 💜💜💜
I’m 56 and have never enjoyed or loved a group more in my life - musically or personally. They truly are special and needed in this crazy, selfish world. They are so generous with their time and sharing of their lives. Inspirational in many ways.💜 This world is better because of them and ARMY is proof of that! Borahae 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🥰
50:01 this part always gets me You Will Always Be Our Beginning And End 54:03 also never fails to make me cry I mean that song is in KOREAN and Wembley Stadium is in the United Kingdom and still they were singing that song to BTS.
68 years old & found BTS2021 after hearing “ life goes own( I don’t speak nor understand Korean). Attend one of their concert in Las Vegas &Suga’s concert in Oakland. Now waiting for other members to do their solo concert & praying for them to be together in 2025. Planning to visit Korea next year 💜💜💜🫰🫶
I'm 30 and I've been listening to BTS since 2015. These guys are so genuine and they love their fans more than anyone else. They always have love and respect for us and will defend us in any situation. BTS treat us more like partners now rather than a fan and artist relationship =)
thank you for taking the time to learn more about them and listening to their music. I hope you continue to dive more into all their music & hope you enjoy. 😊
Really enjoying your reactions to your BTS journey, thank you for taking your time to delve in to the rabbit hole. 58yr old ARMY from UK here . Borahae 💜💜💜💜
YES, they are brothers, not blood but Much More.... You have to understand....RM was 15, Suga 16, Jhope 15, Jin 18 and JK was only 13.....when they went to live in the dorm and start training.... Rm, Suga, Jhope and Jin all raised him and Taehyung and Jimin....At 15 RM was being responsible for the other guys and writing their songs... You have to know, that in Korea males and females don't mix or date till like in their 20's. Their culture is All about Education, being Excellent in everything you do!! Girls hug and hold hands and even kiss and it's not looked at as gay or something wrong, it's family, guys are the same.... They don't mess around, make out, drink, smoke, cuss or any of the things the Western society does. They work hard, learn and give their All to making something of their self. That's why they are so far ahead of us in the USA... So these guys have been living together since around 2011 till 2020, they started getting their own places. They've always shared a room and a bed and it wasn't a big deal....24/7 365 they were together for all those years. Well 360, I think they got a few days to go home at least once a year after debuting. Sorry so long but it helps if you understand the culture they are from and how they have grown together. I'm Silver Army, past or over 60 but not yet at Gold 75 and above. Yes we have many of each....lolol... I'm from the Deep South, Alabama , so you know when I say we are like Mama bears over these young men , you understand... Thank you for your reaction, for your kindness to our guys and for the respect you've shown to them and us Army's. ♥️♥️💜💜💜💜💜💜💜♥️♥️
this is a bit misleading, the have been breaking the mold since they started though, and RM, Jhope, and Suga are the main writers and producers among the guys. They are also known as the 'rapline' as the three rappers in the group.
54 year old ARMY. In May my Bestie and I flew 5 hours to LA to see Suga’s DDAY concert. Stayed overnight and flew home. I haven’t seen them in a group concert yet. But I’m saving my money for 2025/2026, so I can travel anywhere. Seeing all 7 perform is at the top of my bucket list now. 💜
I’m 25 and I’ve been Army since 2016, the music is what pulled me in but I stayed because of the members as humans and what they stand for. They genuinely made me a better person. 💜 ~ Borahae
I just turned 45 in July. I've been ARMY for about 5 yrs now. They got me into K-pop and i am so grateful that the ARMY let me in!! I PURPLE YOU GUYS!!
51 yr old Army from Minnesota and I love and admire those 7 men more then I can express. I laughed and cried with them and they always help me thru all hard times,I have been army for 6 yrs now
I got into BTS via their RAP line. That is why I started watching the explaination videos because lyric translations did not explain all the Korean words or context. Plus I wanted to listen to the flow. I believe they have shares in the company.
Hello 💜, I’m a 62 yo Grandmother who happened upon them in 2018. I was serfing the internet and stumbled across their mv blood sweat and tears. I was floored. I grew up with MJ, Beatles, Queen, Gladys Night and the Pips, Donna Summer, EW&F, Genesis, BTO…many genres. I saw young greats with BTS. And I wasn’t wrong. These guys are the real deal. Borahae💜 And yes. They are independent with their label. Any Army will tell you BigHit is the house BTS built. And they don’t have any strings attached, no greasy hands to palm, and no strange hands in their pockets. They don’t owe anything to anyone. They’re strong and independent.
14:44 they’re still signed to BIGHIT. The staff treats them well. when Suga said he got ripped off it was that (I think) he would sell songs he made as a side job since he needed the money, but he got ripped off in the process. Also, If you wanna get more into what they’ve been through I recommend “the mistreatment of BTS” (this one really made me angry at what they’ve been put through) and “BTS hardships 2013-2021” (this one is eye opening & makes you more sad imo)
BTS has a special place in my heart 💜🇧🇷💜and when you get to know their struggles and all their hardships and disrespect and, how hard they worked to be where they are now, we just started to love them and even more. We all helping each other healing, that’s what making BTS and ARMY grow bigger. It’s all about love and appreciation for each other 💜💜💜💜
I'm 47 years old now, and I've been in love with BTS since 2015, since then Until now my days are only accompanied by BTS, whether it's any video songs about BTS. BTS is always forever
I am 66 years old, ARMY for 4 years, and new subscriber! The Wembley video is even more amazing when you consider that the song is in Korean and the concert’s in Great Britain. 💜💜💜
40 year old ARMY here. They really are inspirational. Just kind, talented, hardworking, humble people who just want to spread inspiration and positivity through their presence on this Earth.
Thank you for your time and genuine reactions to BTS!! It's evident that your interest are coming from the heart. Enjoy your journey of endless content. I am 58 and have been a fan for 7 years now.
56 from Australia been with them from the beginning they helped me when my life was at its roughest and I still listen to them everyday...the positive message they share is so uplifting 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
52yo Australian ARMY (my 90 yo grandmother also ARMY) ... Helpful hint for the guide: Not sure if you know.... Korean people counted age differently to others... Korean Age vs International Age - difference is 1-2 years depending on if their birthday has been.... In most older videos, including this guide, they are giving Korean ages so you will need to adjust. The members were only 13-18 years old when they became trainees and 15-20 yo when they debuted. In Korea when you are born you are considered 1 year old. Then on 01 Jan every year you add another year to your age, no matter what your birthdate is. .... Year of birth - International age at Debut on 13June13 (Year and age became trainee) Jin 1992 - 20 yo (2011 - 18yo) Suga 1993- 20 yo (2011 - 17yo) Suga started with MIDI at 11 JHope 1994 - 19 yo (2011 - 17yo)JHope started dancing at 8 RM 1994 - 18 yo (2010 - 15yo) RM started rapping at 11 and was well known in the underground scene at 13 Jimin 1995 - 17 yo (2012 - 16yo) V 1995 - 17 yo (2011 - 15yo) JK 1997 - 15 yo (2011 - 13yo) JK signed with big hit at 13yo Rule of thumb - if it's before their birthday - subtract 2 years to get international age. if it's after their birthday - subtract 1 year to get their international age. EG: TaeHyung (V) born 30 Dec 1995 ...... current International Age 27 (Korean Age 29). ... 2 years difference So Tae born 30 Dec 95 is 1 year old, then on 01 Jan 96 he is 1 more year older (so they would say he is 2 years old, when we would say he is 2 days old.) So he was considered 29 in Korea since 01 January, we would say he is 27 turning 28 in Dec. It's a different way of looking at age, from new years day - Tae is living his 29th year (since conception) - instead of - he turned 27 (since birth).... The Korean Government has recently (June28) brought in international age as the standard in Korea, but all older videos/ interviews/ shows, will be referencing Korean age. 💜Have a great day
Jungkook is literally perfect at everything Singing dancing raping boxing running rustling playing instruments song writing producing adlibs harmonization literally everything you could think of Yet he is extremely humble that's why i love him so much
I’m an American, 54 years old ARMY. I am so grateful for the OGs who made it possible for me to discover these special special guys during the pandemic. I’m thankful for the English translators and the ones who organize the charity projects so that we can all participate. Being able to attend the PTD LA and Vegas concerts was definitely two of the most memorable days in my whole life so far. Not just the talent and work ethic, but you can see who they are and their humility is beautiful. You can go to a concert or BTS event by yourself but never feel alone because the love and respect we feel for BTS makes us all family. There may be some “toxic” (that I’ve read about) or immature fans, but mostly I feel that ARMYs just want to make a positive impact on our world, just like these 7 amazing young men. It’s so weird to me that someone I’ve never met from halfway around the globe who I can’t even speak their language has become such a part of my daily life, but they have. My family thinks I’m a bit crazy, but if this is crazy then let it be! I didn’t start in 2013, but I’m in this Bangtan shit for the rest of my days!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I'm 29 and have been an army for over 9 years. I've watched them grow up as I did and they've always been a positive influence in my life. Borahae BTS and Army! 💜

❤
Greetings fellow Golden Army! I am 71 and adore these 7 remarkable young men. Borahae 💜!!!
I’m 75 and feel exactly the same way you do @donnasweet3198.
Hi Donna I purple you 💜💜💜💜 all the way from Cape Town South Africa
@@alicesworld1i purple you 💜💜💜
Suga was not talking about a label ripping him off.
Apologies, but thank you for clarifying it for me
And this is only a small reason why they are loved. Wait until you get into interviews, run bts shows and behind the scenes stuff of theirs and their lives. They are just a bunch of cool dudes, and funny. Watching them in concert was a truly magical experience that I will never ever forget. People will fly clear across the ocean just to go to their concert
I absolutely agree 💜 the weekend at Las Vegas for PTD is one of the most wonderful and joyful time of my life 💜💜
@pacificpacific I also went to the Las Vegas PTD on day 3, and that's the one and only memory that I will never forget.💜💜💜
Ya I went to d2 in Las Vegas
At 75 years old, I flew across the US for day 1 in Vegas. Best concert in my entire lifetime! Borahae! 💜
@@jungkooklover97008 aren't we the lucky ones to witness Baepsae for encore stage 🤭🤭😁😁
wow you're one of the lucky ones ;)
🥺🥺🫂🫂💜💜
Awwww you were there since the beginning 🥹🥹🫂💜💜💜
I’m a 27 year old and it’s true when they say “BTS comes into your life when you most need it” I became an Army two years ago when I was hitting rock bottom. Like Suga said “ You don’t need to be with us from out debut, we debut every time you find us” and it’s true this is a beautiful journey that brings so much happiness and motivation. Each member has their own story to tell since being together for 10 years and going through so much together. The relationship with BTS and Army is not of just a group and it’s fandom no we are a family, partners and love 💜 (not said by Army but by bts)
60 yr old Army! These 7 men have my love. They also have my respect and that's not easily given now a days. They worked so hard
They’re Earning mine as I learn more
I'm 66 and have been ARMY for years. These guys are truly unique!
I'm 27 today! I've been an ARMY for 7 years. I was there at Wembley that day! Every single Army (100k of us!) sang to BTS and every single one of us were also crying. It was a very emotional and magical moment I will never forget ♥
Woow!🥺😭💜♾
Me too! I'm 51, in Ohio been ARMY for 2-3 yrs. I just love them to pieces!❤ 💜
V is the creator of "I purple you" and "Borahae"
Excited to see more reactions from you on BTS.
I am 19 now. I've been a bts fan since I was 13. Best 6 years of my life.
I love how RM categorized the percentage of their Success, instead of saying cliche things like "Oh I'll give 100% to our Fans"
He mentioned Everyone who is behind their Success, n thts a Great Leader right there. BTS don't fake it, like many other Artists do. n Even tho BTS is the one who made Army and their small company This big by their Hardwork, Amazing Music n Lyricism, he still gave themselves a small portion of their Success when they r the one who deserves the most, thts why I love BTS 💜💜
They are more than just a music group. They are so genuine and loving. They deserve everything they get.
I am 65 years old my granddaughters introduced me to BTS we have been to several concerts My granddaughters, daughter and myself 3 generations going to concerts enjoying your journey to BTS universe 💜
That is awesome!!
71 yrs young and they found me when i needed them the most, Army 5 years now and my admiration for them just keeps on growing
Thanks for listening to the suggestions...57 yr old Army here. Watched these guys grown from teenagers into some of the most humble talented gifted artist and young men the world has to offer💜 The vlives are so much fun.. RM just comes and hangs out with us
Yoongi comes and usually gives us such uplifting words J-Hope usually dances for us Jin cooks and eats with us
JK takes song requests and gives us a mini show
V does so many different things
Jimin builds arts n crafts with us
RM is a lyrical genius, especially the way he uses wordplay even between languages, composers using different beats flows rhythms.. He's also the only one who does not have a driver's license
Yoongi is my bias and I love how he's so savage.. He seems like a very cold and distant person but he's very caring and loving
J-Hope is a phenomenal dancer and just recently headlined at Lollapalooza.. Hobi is the sunshine of the group
Jin was cast on the street getting off the bus that's true, it has happened twice to him... He did not sing or dance at all before he became a trainee..
Jungkook was only 13/14 when he joined as a trainee, he loves his brothers and Army so very much, loves to take risks, he's pitch perfect and talented in so many things. He's called the "golden maknae"because he's just good at everything he does🤷
V was hidden because the company feared he would be approached by other companies because of his striking good looks.V's voice is like a river of melted chocolate and his vocal range is amazing. He loves jazz and he feels like an old soul to me. He's very funny and spontaneous.
Jimin is pure perfection when he dances, the feelings and emotions he's able to protray is amazing. He also had the shortest time as a trainee, around 7 months only.
Great explanation!!
I'm 49 yrs old and have been Army since 2014 💜💜💜💜💜💜 ARMY FOREVER I have watched them grow up and feel like a Proud mom of 7 amazing men
I am a college student, 19 yrs old, but i been fan of BTS since i was 11.
Happy Birthday!!!🎂💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Happy Birthday, German Army :))) (or I could shorten it to Germy? just kidding, wanted to make you laugh on your birthday :)))))))
Borahae
58 years young Army. My daughters, who are Army as well, are 25 and 32. We attended the BTS concert in Chicago on Mother's Day before Covid.
I'm from Brazil, 42 years old, army for 5 years, and BTS are not just a group, they are THE GROUP! They save lives and make you a better person.

Hi ! 78 old Army here. I love these 7 angels with all my heart. Thank You for your reaction
41 years old, ARMY since 2014 from Romania 🇷🇴, trully enjoyed your reaction😢
My love and support for BTS can't be expressed in words.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our 7 precious/most loved boys/Men in the whole Universe.
I'm 68 years old, love BTS, and am from Mexico.
I am 56, Its said you find BTS when you need them. Very much so for me and they and all they do and stand for continue to help me.
I'm 73 and I love their talent, personalities and respect for all❤
Just FYI - until this year, S Koreans counted age differently.
I'm almost 71, and I love them too! Been Army for about a year and a half.
I'm 70. I've been following BTS since they began. I became army after listening to Blood, Sweat and Tears.
55 yr old “Mama” ARMY here! Hello from Arizona 💜🙋🏻♀️
I'm 61 years old, I fell in love with BTS when I was recovering from knee replacement surgery. I fell down the rabbit hole and I'm still falling ❤
I’m 65 and have been ARMY since 2020. I am from NYC. BORAHAE 💜💜💜💜💜
I'm 72 and love BTS and love to watch them dance and the videos are amazing 🥰💜💜
I'm a 62 year old proud ARMY grandma. APOPANGPO ~which means ARMY forever, Bangtan forever. We're not just fans. We're in this Bangtan shit for life. Welcome! 💜💜💜
75 yr old ARMY here ! Great reaction, keep on down the rabbit hole, you won’t regret it 💜💜💜
I’m 56 and have never enjoyed or loved a group more in my life - musically or personally. They truly are special and needed in this crazy, selfish world. They are so generous with their time and sharing of their lives. Inspirational in many ways.💜 This world is better because of them and ARMY is proof of that!
Borahae 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🥰
50:01 this part always gets me You Will Always Be Our Beginning And End
54:03 also never fails to make me cry I mean that song is in KOREAN and Wembley Stadium is in the United Kingdom and still they were singing that song to BTS.
The last moment gets me🥺
68 years old & found BTS2021 after hearing “ life goes own( I don’t speak nor understand Korean).
More to come, thank you💜

Hi....66 yr old ARMY here....born in Mobile and now... much further north than I'd like to be. :) Borahae! ARMY grandma
girls kiss? guys kiss?
oh is silver Army over 60? not 50's?
this is a bit misleading, the have been breaking the mold since they started though, and RM, Jhope, and Suga are the main writers and producers among the guys.
I am 57 yrs old and found BTS last year.
They’re strong and independent.
wow sounds like you should have had a career as A & R :)
53-year old from Sweden here. Have been ARMY for 5+ years now.
Thank you💜
17 and have been an army since 2015 (2 years after they made debut)!
40 year old ARMY here.
They really are inspirational. Just kind, talented, hardworking, humble people who just want to spread inspiration and positivity through their presence on this Earth.
20 year old Army here, been an Army since 14 yo. Love your reaction and thank you for reacting to them!
Thank you for your time and genuine reactions to BTS!! It's evident that your interest are coming from the heart. Enjoy your journey of endless content.

Then on 01 Jan every year you add another year to your age, no matter what your birthdate is. ....
Year of birth - International age at Debut on 13June13 (Year and age became trainee)
Jin 1992 - 20 yo (2011 - 18yo)
Suga 1993- 20 yo (2011 - 17yo) Suga started with MIDI at 11
JHope 1994 - 19 yo (2011 - 17yo)JHope started dancing at 8
RM 1994 - 18 yo (2010 - 15yo) RM started rapping at 11 and was well known in the underground scene at 13
Jimin 1995 - 17 yo (2012 - 16yo)
V 1995 - 17 yo (2011 - 15yo)
JK 1997 - 15 yo (2011 - 13yo) JK signed with big hit at 13yo
Rule of thumb - if it's before their birthday - subtract 2 years to get international age. if it's after their birthday - subtract 1 year to get their international age.
EG: TaeHyung (V) born 30 Dec 1995 ...... current International Age 27 (Korean Age 29). ... 2 years difference
So Tae born 30 Dec 95 is 1 year old, then on 01 Jan 96 he is 1 more year older (so they would say he is 2 years old, when we would say he is 2 days old.)
So he was considered 29 in Korea since 01 January, we would say he is 27 turning 28 in Dec.
💜Have a great day
75 year old Army here. Love those beautiful, talented, humble young men. Best Wishes to you and your channel. 💜
Jimin's vocals are insane beautiful ♡♡
Jungkook is literally perfect at everything
Singing dancing raping boxing running rustling playing instruments song writing producing adlibs harmonization literally everything you could think of
Yet he is extremely humble that's why i love him so much
I’m an American, 54 years old ARMY.
I am 59 year old ARMY. Thank you for recognizing that we range in age and backgrounds. BTS touches many around the world. Enjoying your reactions.
