To my knowledge, Astropaths have never gotten a ton of attention from most 40k media. I’m glad this soundtrack exists as a fitting tribute to that part of the lore. Fantastic work.
I absolutely love this piece. The "music box" plucked strings imply fragility and a kind of childish playfulness, with a dark undertone. The darker/heavier bass/techno elements bring out the sci-fi elements. The reverberated choir chants elevate the sound, and then the heavily electrified organ sound just brings so much depth. While a lot of Rogue Trader OSTs bring out that quintessential 40K "feel", this piece definitely makes the setting come to life. I may be a bit biased (since I love love love Astropaths) but you did a great job Pavel.

I have been collecting miniatures, books, video games, pretty much everything and anything for years and years, almost since I was introduced to the setting in 1998-1999 when I was a kid from my older brother, who has been into the hobby since the release of the first edition in 1987, amusingly called Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. And while there have been quite a few 40k games with great ost's, this game's ost, and specifically this song, is one of the best I have ever heard. It bleeds the very essence of 40k, it is absolutely wonderful.

This OST become my favorite in the entire DLC ost. i looking forward to see Astropath workplace in rogue trader's voidship and Owlcat surprise me with huge Organ in chapel while Astropath dude act as a DJ. And the most impressive part is when the first part of this OST kick in.
Those first few beats already hit so damn good, really gets you hooked. I don't know what I expected from Astropathic Choir theme but this fits just perfect.
Anything incorporating organ, choir, and some really grungy sounds I can listen to hours of. Besides 40K, I haven't been able to find any music like it anywhere else. Truly some one of a kind stuff here man

This sounds like it came from someone who is very gifted and understands 40k or at least the Astropaths very well. Also, the Astropath Chapel looks incredible.

I don't usually sing praises to songs easily But this one hit me hard when I first entered. Here are my emotions as I remember First it was intrigue (this is different), after exploring a bit and talking to the choirmaster I observed not hearing the orchestra (cool detail), and I was hit by the "largeness and otherwordlyness of the room (magicmen dreaming and requiring songs to translate the dreams into messages). It was captivating. I stayed more than I needed. I hope they use this song in more areas. And yes it is at the mechanicus OST level. The Emperor protects!
I do love Owlcat's music, and this is right up there. I don't know how you managed something both disturbing and discordant, yet soothing and tranquil.

Man, this is such a great soundtrack. It perfectly captures the ominous and suffocating whisper of the Empyrean. Many of the rogue trades OST are on par with the Dawn of War and Battle Fleet Gothic. Which is the best OST there is in 40k. Looking forward to more!
