Just used this video again after installing some solar, and it's hands down one of the simplest, easiest to understand instructional tutorials I've come across. Well done guys.
Awesome. Your video is perfect. I'm an installation electrician and haven't needed to install or program one for years since the old rotary timers. I followed your instructions and everything was correct the first time. Well done
This was the MOST helpful. It’s the bypassing and auto on and off which was so confusing for me. THANKS GUYS! You’ve saved my mood as I was having cold showers thinking the timer wasn’t working!
Thanks, we’re using ours as a pool pump timer and with load shedding everything got out of sync but your RUclips explained perfectly how to reset, especially the distinction between On/Off and Auto On/Auto Off
This was so helpful...Thank you very much for sharing this video...Was able to successfully reset the timer all by myself...Feel like a handy lady 😂...Where the screwdriver at?!?!😅
My timer has been on auto for sometime now ,load shedding happened and I had to switch it back to manual, must I reset it back or once I remove the manual it will go back to the original time set ?
Hey there The Geyser timer has a battery back up, which means your settings will not be affected by power outages, the settings are automatically saved and stays the same unless changed manually.
Is there a way to set it to just turn off automatically after a set amount of time? With loadshedding, we can no longer rely on exact on and off times, so now we just want it to automatically switch off after 2hours, regardless of when we turn it on.
A choice to switch between multiple programs would be nice because occasionally people need the geyser to heat at a different time but still want it to switch off automatically after a set time as they tend to forget that the switch is in manual ON mode, defeating the purpose of the time switch
Good explanation in video but poor instructions on the manuals and container carton it is sold in. After watching the video I realized to my disappointment that if the Auto ON is set, it seem it will follow all the programs that was set on the device in stead of just one. I was hoping to select one and when need arises, select another without resetting and reprogramming every time. E.G. Some days I would like to shower after 19:00 but occasionally I have to shower at 4 AM. It would have been nice to preset multiple Programs and then only select the one I need by pressing Prog until my desired program display and then press the clock to activate/select it.
Thank You very much for the great easy to understand demo
Was struggling to set this up and this is the most informative video out there. Set it up in no time. Well done, great video!!
I'm a 75 year old woman & nobody could get this right for me!
This video was concise & extremely helpful... well done!
Thank you for the clarity. The manual was not that clear or I did not understand the instructions clearly. Thank you for taking time to do this video.
Thank goodness for this video... Loadshedding has caused chaos on my timer and nou ja... Nou weet ek ook
This man needs an award 🙌🏼 best explanation !!

Hi Jerry
I fully agree with you. That man knows how to explain the timer clearly in a layman's terms.

Very well explained. Even me as a woman can understand seeing that sometimes us women are not so technical. Thanks
Clear, concise, straight forward easy to understand tutorial. big thumbs up from my side!
Finally a simple, concise and understandable explanation, thanks
Hi Terence, after you've set your time. Does it switch off or it stays permanently on? Because I've set mine, but it still says on
@@thandomoshani1415 it must switch off at the time you program it to. Follow the instructions and reset it. That’s the whole reason to have a timer👍🏼
thank you guys so much
What a great video, took me 2 minutes to program the time after watching this.
Thank you, I just saved money by knowing how to do this myself
This was the MOST helpful. It’s the bypassing and auto on and off which was so confusing for me. THANKS GUYS! You’ve saved my mood as I was having cold showers thinking the timer wasn’t working!
Glad we could help
P
Thanks, very helpful. 👌🏻
Extremely informative, specially the am and pm vs. 12 hour cycle options and the auto on and auto off timeframes when applicable. Thanks.
The manual which accompanies this product is not nearly as informative as this video. Excellent!
Thank you bro, very explainable.
Seemed complex, thanks for making it easy for us!
Most informative video explaining the functions I have ever seen. Well done.
Many thanks, for an excellent Tutorial on this timer.
Great video guys, clear and well presented

May I please ask, do we leave the geyser switch on at all times even if the timer is left on auto off ?
Hey there
If you are referring to the Isolator Switch of the Geyser then yes, it always has to be on.
Very nice thank you!
Is the on button top left suppose to shine red
Interesting 💚
💚💚💚
Hi , does it switch off and on during those set times or it stays permanently on?
How do you get the auto on? For me its either on, auto or off. And the water is always cold

Thank you!!! 🙏
Helpful indeed
Glad it helped ! 💚💚💚

Hi there, currently our geyser timer is on but we're not getting any hot water at all. Please help
A choice to switch between multiple programs would be nice because occasionally people need the geyser to heat at a different time but still want it to switch off automatically after a set time as they tend to forget that the switch is in manual ON mode, defeating the purpose of the time switch
My timer light went off and wont come back on. When i try to reset, it does not happen. I am able to set programs, but the light does not come on.
Hey there
Are you using a Top Tronic Digital Geyser Timer
I have the same question. I am using the timer that you explained here
Why the video show it turning on and illuminating the red light and the function working?
How to configure one week to be on and the next week to be off. Thanks
The auto on and auto off function is very confusing and seems silly. Why is not just an auto option?
Good explanation in video but poor instructions on the manuals and container carton it is sold in. My timer doesn't wanna reset
Thank You very much for the great easy to understand demo
