I’ve finally got the moving vlog finished! I hope you enjoy seeing our house move and the empty house tour and seeing our new house. We have lots of work to do on our new house and I will of course be sharing it as we go along, first up is the kids bedrooms 🏡

You've done the right thing going for full ownership. I think your new house is lovely, beautiful garden! I've got cupboards like that in my house (in the bedroom) and they're so useful! X
Yeah it was definitely the right move, we were tempted to get a new shared ownership in the beginning as it was so much bigger and brand new but the monthly payments were just too much. I’m so happy with the garden! Yeah those cupboards are a great storage space x
I love your new house! I live how the kitchen is open plan ans as a girl that spends mist of her time in it, i think that is ideal for the kids to not be shut in another room and can pop in and out easily❤

Thanks for the tour, it is always interesting to see how other people live :) we have moved a few times and it is stressful but also very exciting times so just embrace it all. Look forward to seeing more updates as you go. ☺️

As you said things are different the kids rooms are smaller but they're getting older and they're not going to be playing in there as much because of being in school and that kitchen it's lovely
Yeah that’s true, they are really happy with their new rooms anyway so that’s good. I’m so happy with the kitchen, my old one was so tiny x
@@MummyCleans it was and the fact that you can have your table in there and it looks like you can have your freezer in there as well that's wonderful
New carpet and non gloss paint in the kids rooms make a world of difference.
Definitely! We have actually done the painting and got new carpet fitted already and it looks so much better, I’ll share that once we’ve completely finished their rooms ❤️

As an American I know about shared ownership through RUclips. I think it was smart and lucky to move along to the next house all on your own. Those arrangements can become complicated.
We are lucky we have been able to move to full ownership now as the rent was going up quite a lot and it definitely complicated things x

Full ownership! The point of shared is to get you on the ladder. And for someone behind you to get on the ladder. They have their own space. It’s enough. Or they have too much stuff.
Yes that is very true, they probably do have too much so we will need to go through and choose what to sell/ donate x
@@MummyCleans kids attract stuff. It’s not even the parents bringing it all in, so many want to gift kids with stuff. It’s fun to buy toys. As they get older the stuff gets more pricey. The tech, brands, hobbies…
@@kristinesharp6286 they do have lots of people who like to buy them things lol which is really nice but we just have to find space for it all 🙈
The kids don’t seem upset at all to leave the old house behind. May I ask what was that your husband did in the back garden? Take your time with the unpacking, the t will all get sorted. When you get time, can you explain what shared ownership is please. The bathroom will make a huge difference when you put the shower in and tile it. Thanks for sharing.
They love it here, I was just worried they would miss their old rooms. That was my brother and he was digging up an old washing line pole as I didn’t want Mila and Jack hurting themselves on it. Shared ownership is where you pay a percentage of rent and a percentage of mortgage (we did 50/50) and the rent is paid to the housing association so it does make it more difficult when it comes to selling as they need to be involved aswell.

The old house was much nicer.
I thought some people might say that but I did explain the reason we moved at the end. There’s some things that are better in this house and we’re happy with it so that’s what matters 😊
