Edit: a lot of you guys seem to be upset with Arthur’s rating, you can’t be a better person after killing more than 1,100 people in the space of 3 months. It’s not logical. I believe that the low honor and high honor endings are canon, both are canon. Rockstar NEVER confirmed that either ending was canon.

Pearson deserves maximum honour. He worked extremely hard for the gang, making food and doing lots of work around camp, and despite the gang showing little to nothing appreciation, he still did work no matter what, and during his time in the gang, he didn’t rob nor kill, he just worked around the camp.

Expanding on what you said, even though I believe Arthur was truly a good man at heart the only way he could somewhat repay the world for the things he’s done was what happened in the endings, dying for someone else (John and his family) No matter how many people he helps and saves he will still always be in debt from the hundreds of people he’s killed and their families he’s inadvertently devastated. To finish off my yapping session, Arthur was a good man who got roped in with the wrong people and did some horrible things, so I guess he deserved what happened on that mountain. My first playthrough was basically straight high honor, but I finally managed to get a low-to-high honor run going the other day, where I “redeem” Arthur towards the end. The ideal goal would be to max out honor but if that’s not feasible, I just want to get the deer vision instead of the coyote (or wolf, can’t remember). You might want to try that since ideally it still gives you the high honor ending.

Molly didn’t do anything wrong - she actually didn’t succumb to the pinkertons, she was just drunk when she told Dutch that. She was loyal to the gang, and she stood up for herself when Dutch abused her. I think that at least gives her positive honor.

Honestly someone that mains Low Honor Arthur I can say originally Arthur is High Honor. From all the story,side mission, and extra dialogues in the game you can tell Arthur does not like being bad. It goes against his code which he is always on about against killing innocent people, robbing innocent people, he’s also very loyal to the gang since he loves them like family since pretty much they are his family. If you pay attention to all the main missions you can clearly see this especially when it doesn’t give you an option to make a choice the choice Arthur usually makes by himself is good.

Karen: Neutral or High honor Susan: High honor Abigail: Maximum honor Molly: Maximum/Very High honor Strauss: Neutral Honor Kieran: High honor Trelawny: High honor Pearson: Maximum Honor Uncle: Neutral honor Arthur: Neutral/Low honor
Sure, Arthur killed thousands of people, however, high or low honor is not really based on whether you are an outlaw or a good citizen that listens to the law. High and low honor is mostly based on how honorable you are to people and whether you are an insane guy or someone with good reasoning and high respect. Arthur is very honorable because of what he does for the gang, how he treats other people, how he deeply cares about the gang and much more, so Killing thousands of people doesn't really affect the honor Arthur has, especially when considering that Arthur kills only people who are a threat to him and his gang and does not really go after innocent people, but does rob them like for exampled the saint denis bank robbery. The only time Arthur's honor would realistically have his honor decreased because of murder would be if he killed innocent unarmed people that are not a threat to him or his gang, and again, it's not about how many people you killed and how many crimes you've committed, it's about how you are seen as by other people and how memorable and honorable you are.

Molly is neutral honor imo: she always refused to lift a finger to help the gang and insinuated the other girls in the gang are servants by replying “I’m nobody’s servant girl” when Arthur asks her to help the other girls. She spends all day primping herself up while everyone else works

In the epilogue to RDR2, Charles reveals that Leopold Strauss was captured by the law and tortured, but never gave up information about the gang. I'm not saying he was overall honorable, but much like Arthur and John, he has a redemption.
Not gonna lie the way I first played it in 2018 when it just came out and I doddnt hear any spoilers has to be the way it was intended. I played neutral cause I tried my best to be good but I wasn't sure who I was or what would happen. I always did good but u couldn't help being bad. It gives the best side dialogue about how Arthur dosnt know who he is and needs to pick a road. In the last part of the game, I raised his honor . That's Canon.
I think the rating for Arthur is pretty accurate, at least for before he gets TB. It makes the most sense for him to be very low honour before he gets diagnosed with it and then become more high honour as he helps the other gang members escape the gang.
Why would mary Beth have very low honor? Because she turns into an alcoholic? Why does Abigail have low honor? Because she doesn’t want John to put the law on his tail by gunslinging at the Geddes ranch or risking his and his family’s life for revenge against Micah? What have either of these characters done in the game that is so morally heinous?
In terms of Arthur i would say that you cant tell his Honor since it really depends on the player if Arthur goes around, saving people, Helping them, or if he is just a thief killing people. So I would not give Arthur a honor there.

Arthur is human, he's imperfect. The player decides whether Arthur becomes an honorable/dishonourable man by the end of the game, but it doesn't change the fact that Arthur has robbed and killed hundreds of people throughout the main story. The canon of Arthur actually having the honorable ending and the whole point of his redemption isn't him become a saint, it's him replenishing the terrible deeds he's done throughout his life by helping other people, and realising that he has in fact done horrible things his whole life and then profoundly regrets it. Arthur was introduced as killer and a thief, but then died like a brave strong man, not a saint or a necessarily "high honour" man.
Arthur at the end definitely had high honor. Yes yes he killed thousands of people but he realized the errors of his ways by the end and did everything he could to be a good man with the little time he has left. I do not care if you think Arthur is not a good man. I’m not saying he is one, I’m saying that he isn’t ALL BAD. The game is literally called redemption.
I think neutral honour Trelawny is good, but high honour would be more suitable given his use of tricks as opposed to violence, and his loyalty to his family and the gang
In my eyes, Arthur starts with low to very low honor but over the course of the game, becomes more and more honorable, to the point to where he questions his place in the world. He starts off loyal to Dutch and the gang, willing to die for it, only to end actively battling it, realizing that outlaws aren't the only people fighting uncle tom.
I think ur right but near the end id still say he had low honor since the majority of the world knew he was a mass murderer for things like the Valentine train robbery where he canonically massacred the cops that were already there ☠️ but to the gang and other people they helped he def had high honor because he redeemed himself to them, it’s complicated because im not sure if the honor system is how the whole map sees him or just the gang

Karen is atleast neutral honor. You can talk with her in i think chapter 2 or 3 if you are killing people. She will question why you about why you would do that. And for the bank robbery she preferred silent, but if it is loud, then she is the only one brave enough to go out of the bank.

My first playthrough was basically straight high honor, but I finally managed to get a low-to-high honor run going the other day, where I “redeem” Arthur towards the end. The ideal goal would be to max out honor but if that’s not feasible, I just want to get the deer vision instead of the coyote (or wolf, can’t remember). You might want to try that since ideally it still gives you the high honor ending.

Honestly someone that mains Low Honor Arthur I can say originally Arthur is High Honor. From all the story,side mission, and extra dialogues in the game you can tell Arthur does not like being bad. If you pay attention to all the main missions you can clearly see this especially when it doesn’t give you an option to make a choice the choice Arthur usually makes by himself is good.

Sure, Arthur killed thousands of people, however, high or low honor is not really based on whether you are an outlaw or a good citizen that listens to the law. High and low honor is mostly based on how honorable you are to people and whether you are an insane guy or someone with good reasoning and high respect. Arthur is very honorable because of what he does for the gang, how he treats other people, how he deeply cares about the gang and much more, so Killing thousands of people doesn't really affect the honor Arthur has, especially when considering that Arthur kills only people who are a threat to him and his gang and does not really go after innocent people, but does rob them like for exampled the saint denis bank robbery. The only time Arthur's honor would realistically have his honor decreased because of murder would be if he killed innocent unarmed people that are not a threat to him or his gang, and again, it's not about how many people you killed and how many crimes you've committed, it's about how you are seen as by other people and how memorable and honorable you are.

I think the rating for Arthur is pretty accurate, at least for before he gets TB. It makes the most sense for him to be very low honour before he gets diagnosed with it and then become more high honour as he helps the other gang members escape the gang.

The player decides whether Arthur becomes an honorable/dishonourable man by the end of the game, but it doesn't change the fact that Arthur has robbed and killed hundreds of people throughout the main story. The canon of Arthur actually having the honorable ending and the whole point of his redemption isn't him become a saint, it's him replenishing the terrible deeds he's done throughout his life by helping other people, and realising that he has in fact done horrible things his whole life and then profoundly regrets it. Arthur was introduced as killer and a thief, but then died like a brave strong man, not a saint or a necessarily "high honour" man.

Arthur at the end definitely had high honor. Yes yes he killed thousands of people but he realized the errors of his ways by the end and did everything he could to be a good man with the little time he has left.

In my eyes, Arthur starts with low to very low honor but over the course of the game, becomes more and more honorable, to the point to where he questions his place in the world.
He starts off loyal to Dutch and the gang, willing to die for it, only to end actively battling it, realizing that outlaws aren't the only people fighting uncle tom.
I think ur right but near the end id still say he had low honor since the majority of the world knew he was a mass murderer for things like the Valentine train robbery where he canonically massacred the cops that were already there ☠️ but to the gang and other people they helped he def had high honor because he redeemed himself to them, it’s complicated because im not sure if the honor system is how the whole map sees him or just the gang
@@7kglo True True/. I do agree to an extent since majority of the higher ups like the law and rich people look at them as just filth on america's soil. Not to mention some of the robberies the gang does like the train one Arthur, John, Sean, and Charles when they robbed innocent people on a train, most likely beating them for money.
But assuming players are kind to strangers as arthur, more and more common folk may see arthur in a different light. A good man born in the wrong crowd. Perfect example being when you give health cure to injured folks, when you meet them again they usually say "Hey! this is the feller I was telling you about for saving my life!"

Karen is atleast neutral honor. You can talk with her in i think chapter 2 or 3 if you are killing people. She will question why you about why you would do that. And for the bank robbery she preferred silent, but if it is loud, then she is the only one brave enough to go out of the bank.
