Sahil Rohmehtra, originally from jammu district of jammu and kashmir and now residing in Pune, is a Sebi Registered Research Analyst at the age of 38. His Stock Market journey began in 2007 when he started his career in the IT sector in Bangalore. In 2013, he decided to shift and transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry, working for a company specialising in vaccine manufacturing.
It was in 2015 that Sahil initiated his trading journey. Armed with a capital of 5 crores, of which 3.5 crores are allocated to equity and F&O trading, while the remaining 1.5 crores are invested in bonds such as gold bonds. His biggest profit to date stands at an impressive 32 lakhs, achieved in 2020 through a successful long position in futures.
Since April 2023, Sahil has made a lot more money. He turned his initial 2.5 crores into 1.25 crores of profit. Most of this profit came from trading stocks. Even though he didn't make much in futures trading at first, he's been making a steady profit of 10 to 15 lakhs each month from stocks.
Sahil's success is thanks to his smart understanding of market trends and his ability to make careful decisions. His journey shows how much you can achieve in trading, inspiring others who want to try it too.

This was one of the most insightful interviews. I was primarily a swing trader, but recently I entered into the intraday options segment. For Intraday, psychology is probably the single biggest defining factor. I am also trying out and experimenting with various methods that will allow me to add to my winning positions. This is only my first-month buying option, positive on gross pnl but down around 2% in net pnl. Let's see how it goes.
Edit: After watching the whole interview, I went on to calculate my skewness. But the sample size is too small, only 25 trades. I only trade nifty options with one lot and my accuracy is 38%. For my losing trades, the mean is 341, the median is 328, the standard deviation is 158 and the skewness comes out as 0.25. For winning trades, mean = 456, median = 277, standard deviation = 547 and the skewness comes out as 0.99. Will keep skewness under watch as the sample size grows.
For skewness focus on the total of winning and losing trades. Sample size above 30 closed trades is OK. All the best.
