    Okay but only 5 deaths in 50 years is actually pretty good considering that normal elevators kill around 50 a year in the U.S.A.

      It’s just simply unnecessary and not elderly or handicap friendly so why not just update to the more safer version imo

      @@emsa5034 yeah i agree, a lot of elderly and disabled people literally cant use the stairs and elevators are really helpful so why go through the work of making an elevator and leaving out one of your biggest demographics?

    These elevator are fine, and actually more efficient at transporting people than regular elevators. The only problem with these elevators is that they're not dumb*ss proof.

      They also practically get rid of every benefit of an elevator, would not work in buildings even slightly tall, and they are beaten in nearly every way by the normal elevator design.

    5? 5 deaths is the scary number here? I mean by that logic cars should be banned worldwide. Accidents happen, and modern ones have WAY more than that. The fact that its so low a number shows that they arent that dangerous as you make them sound.

    • @Ajokeiguess
      @Ajokeiguess 18 дней назад

      There are around 200 of these elevators around the world, with that 5 deaths a year is a lot. And cars are completely unrelated, that was not a very good comparison… at all.

      @Ajokeiguess 18 дней назад

      Also, there are around 30 deaths a year in the US from normal elevators, and there are around 1,300,000 of those elevators in the US.
