This was the last number in the show's set - and a spot for the performers to show their stuff and seem to get into it a bit more on this one....
Please excuse video, as I shot in on my phone which I hadn't done on this one before. Since, I wasn't able to get my 4K camera in...so a little shaky as i tried to adapt, Also, the blue hue lighting played havoc with the performers on stage, as you will notice - I was about 40 yards from the stage….... and while everyone sat and listen, my view contained 3 gals who thought they were at a sporting event - standing the entire time and trying to initiate a Wave and other arm waving activities.... so limited shots....
Concert wise, I felt Diana was going thru the motions - never really talked to the audience - and always left for a costume change leaving the band to fill for extraordinary times. But in her defense, Portland’s Black community didn’t seem to be much in attendance as it was a very receptive, predominantly White, ‘ 60’s-RnR crowd - ... $1 from ea tic went to the Diana Ross Foundation,.
