    My little girls did this and loved it. I didn't even consider leaving the end open, little alone putting a phone (or their tablet) camera on the end. They've been having a blast recording things around the house. We used reflective paper for the inside.

    +Mad Stuff With Rob Can you pls tell me the dimensions(length and breadth) of the strips? will really help me out in my physics project. and doesn't it need a piece of glass on one end?? Pls confirm

      It depends on you that how big you need it to be and all the mirrors should be of equal dimensions

    I got 2 projects from which I had to choose any one :
    1. periscope
    2. Kaleidoscope
    I thought that the first one was a easy one and then saw this and realised this is the easiest project ever in science. 😂😂

    I hope you are doing great! I made a different version of your Kaleidoscope, when I was younger--probably 10-15 years! I saw your episode on Pogo and made it!     Great! Thanks for creating this video, as it's very simple, it made clear how kaleidoscope really works. Many other tutorials focused on decorating and.... well, not very clear on the basic things.

    I'm here as an adult because I'm into psychedelics now and I realised that these geometric patterns are basis of the other dimension we enter after taking psychedelics. It's literally universal! Everyone who has ever taken psychedelic drugs see these kind of geometric patterns during the peak

    Please let us know, we need to follow any specific size proportion while choosing the mirror pieces.
    Example, can I use the mirror size (per pice) with lenght=10inches, Width=1.5inches & Thickness=5mm?

      It depends how big u want to make it...Just make all mirror of equal dimensions...The bigger the mirror the bigger it's size

    i think he made a really simple one kaliedoscope! ..bcz in other videos and even in the books i have seen that we have to cover the ends of the kaliedoscope with poly and then put some shiny objets innit and then again cover it with a poly!..and that one are even more cooler!...
