Home Made Lidar First Test

This is a demonstration of a device called a Lidar that I’ve been building. It’s based on the Garmin Lidar Lite V3 and works just like a radar, but instead of radio waves it uses pulses of light to build a 3D map of its surrounding that we can recreate on a computer. I’ve a few hundred hours of machining video to edit before you see the build, but I’ll look forward to sharing just as soon as it’s ready!
